Out of nowhere "Power: Any" state change stopped being detected.

Zero clues. Zero messages.

Is there a way to discover the reason ? A Log ?

Hi, I have event where i need use only for SIM1 in  my mobile phone with dualSIM. I don't know how to se up an event only for SIM1. For SIM2 I don't need any events. Anyone advise me what to put in the variable ? 

First event is call screened and second send sms with text.

I am having an issue with using Get Location v2.

My device: Samsung Galaxy S9, Android 10, OneUI 2.5

Tasker: 5.12.22 and it has all permissions.

Location is definitely enabled on my phone and I am testing outdoors.

If I use only Get Location v2 the task will return this error

However if I add Get Location (v1) in front of it, it does work:

Enabling High Accuracy on v2 doesn't work and isn't really something I want to do.

I have this profile set up:

STATE -> Variable Value ~ 1

Task:

A loop in which every 5 seconds it should do a http request and check whether or not it should open an app. This includes a Wait of 5 sec and a Goto 1 after the loop ended.

This works for a while, however after 2 hours (http request no longer required the app to open), it stops working (http request now requires it to). It's just like the profile and task never existed.

I had Tasker installed on a new Samsung S21 running Android 11 - this was installed as part of migration from old to new phone. On the new phone I've never run Tasker, or set it up at all.

I've kept getting toast type messages randomly appear on my phone saying there was no permission to check for a license. I had no idea which app was causing this, but after pulling the logs I can now see it was Tasker. ADB logcat snippet below:

The Pick input dialog action is not working correctly. It does not return the variable %input. It simply do nothing.

I'm trying to remap the power double-tap action on my Samsung Galaxy S10 using Tasker.

I've seen the video on doing this with the Bixby key but am not having luck reproducing it with the power key.

- I've turned off the "Quick launch" toggle in the stock S10 camera - Got the popup asking if I wanted to set tasker as the power double-tap action (and restarted the phone as requested) - I've tried the adding the custom setting to make sure this persists at startup as per here

I have used Tasker to load 2 apps split screen on a horizontal android head unit, but my current tesla style vertical head unit (Linkswell Gen 4) seems to ignore the split screen command in Tasker.  The 2 apps are thus loaded sequentially full screen.  

I have a messy csv file that i make multiple splits to be able to extract the datapart i need. When i finaly have the data i want i make a new variable (%csvA) with "variable set" and have the "structure output" checked.

When i then try to list all data from index 2 with %csvA[2]() i get nothing. If i list index 1 i get all the data from the variable.

I just used a 9 button scene and KEYBOARD action to create a DPAD and give myself the &^%$#@!!! arrow keys (and, eventually, the Delete key) missing from most keyboards.

  Good news:  It works!

Bad news:

  The keyboard disappears, then reappears after a beat.

It's kind of jarring to use, as-is.

Setting the "don't restore keyboard" flag is an ok workaround, but if it's possible to choose not to hide the keyboard that would be useful.

Tasker is not firing a Bluetooth Connected event (Profile) if I put a string in the Name variable in the event.

This is a Profile that I've used for years, and it recently stopped working - after Tasker and my Phone both updated, so I'm not sure which one may have caused the bug.

The profile triggers an action to set a sound/volume profile in another app, whenever my truck's bluetooth connects to my phone.  But for testing, I created an even simpler profile and gave it one action: to produce a popup message "BT Connected".

I installed and used TASKER first yesterday. Therefore  i created a profile (if telephone rings) that a task call redirection (german: Rufumleitung) will start.

That worked perfectly. But then after testing i wanted to manually disable therefore i  moved the toggle to grey on profile (if telephone rings) but recognized that android holds the message that all calls will be redirected.

I testet it and it is true, also with deactivation the option still stays and all calls are redirected. I never made other setting on android therefore therefore i must come from tasker...

I have 2 function in my tasker. First is "Screening call" beacuase i have android 10+ (end call function no works). Another function is send sms after call is "busy". But SMS sends on a wrong number in list numbers maybe 3-4 times after call. When i call another number send sms to correct number 3-4times this is repeated.

I always need to send an sms to the last number that was rejected.

Don't know what it can be?

The help text for "restore settings" in the profile settings still references the old "cog icon" which has been replaced by double arrows

I've been working on a utility for the Instacart Shopper App (the one that the individuals who do the shopping for the customers use).  To be clear, this is not a "bot" designed to grab batches.  It is meant to download the user's info such as earnings.

This week Instacart made a change to the app that is deliberately preventing Tasker from functioning!  It's seems to impact the Autoinput Action to "click" on items in the menu (all Actions and Field Types aren't working).  Tasker can still click on other screen areas, but nothing associated with the menu (see attachments).

I am launching a App when the %DATE Global Variable is changed. If I switch off my phone during the night and switch it on in the morning. %DATE Variable is not updated. Only if I edit the Task and save it again, It changes. Any suggestions?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 running Android 10.  I've created a simple task to disconnect my Bluetooth headset.  However, when I Play the task nothing happens.  That is, the headset remains connected.  I've tried usight the MAC address as well as the Name of the headset.  Neither Action works.  Please advise.
