Call forwarding always worked for me until the Android 14 upgrade.   I have a Samsung S22+. 

Now, Tasker launches the phone app, but it doesn't actually dial the number. It just sits there and I have to press dial.  To forward, I'm dialing the Verizon *72 sequence. I verified that I have the auto dial box checked.

Oddly, call Forward End *73 still works.

When I use an Autonotification tile with "Hide Notifications" as an option (to collapse the notification shade), I instead get a warning that Autonotification cannot close the shade and I should be using "Close System Dialogs" from the fired task to close the shade.

Unfortunately, a work profile on my device prevents me from using Tasker's accessibility service, so this is not an option for me.

However, other apps I use with quick setting tiles all seem to be able to accomplish this goal without special permissions. As does the QuickTask Tasker plugin.

When using the Sound Mode task, tasker is able to change the sound mode to vibrate or "sound", but not to mute. Any suggestions?

On My Google Pixel 7 Android 14 the alarm notification "00:00" occours again. Resetting "use reliable alarms" to never has only a temporary effect, after a minute the alarm notification occurs again. Also clear the data and cache does not help?

Any hints or ideas?

I have a task that auto-dials MMI codes to turn on/off forwarding. This used to work fine, after an Android 14 update, the dial keypad pops up with the MMI code already entered, but does not actual dial the number. I have to manually click "call".

I have recently bought a new phone but I can't restore my geofences from my previous phone. I only have the option to backup but not to restore. If I click backup it tells me the file path and says it doesn't exist.

Weirdly enough, tasker is not reporting the correct volume level on my head unit (Chinese aftermarket). Lots of tasks work normally, but when checking my volume level, it always returns the same value (e.g. 13 VOLM and 7 for VOLS). Anyone encountered this issue and/or has a lead on how to solve/debug this?

Sound setting to another level in the profile are placed back when the profile ends, without Exit Task or anything else.

Kid apps from Tasker App Factory start with the following notification inherited from Tasker:

"Starting in Android 10 Tasker needs to always have the 'Draw Over Other Apps' permission to be able to do stuff like opening apps from the background."

Can this notification be removed from Kid Apps? Even if this permission is required for the kid app as well, the notification shouldn't say "Tasker".

i want tasker to open a specific link in multiple apps as a task like opening google in 5 browser and added enough timeout between actions and it work well but when i check open apps list just the last one is open.

even i have tried playing the task step by step but before opening an app it close the previous one.

also tried to just open apps by it and made a task to open 5 apps but again after opening each app it close the one opened before that.

how should i stop that ?

So I have this Tasker profile which enables display rotation for some apps, and when I exit the app it disables it. However  this seems to interfere with Samsungs recents button, as it glitches out and prevents those apps from entering recents. Disabling that Tasker profile fixes the issue. I don't know if this is a Tasker issue or Samsung issue... Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I was purchased app via google play and all time app is work properly except disconnecting from internet.

But last time after disconnect wi-fi and 4g tasker send me "Trial over. can't be used.... click OK to purchase". When I connecting networks app work normally.

Currently, Tasker prevents the deletion of tasks that are associated with profiles. If a task is not associated with any profile, but is used in one or more other tasks using the "Perform task" action, the user may mistakenly delete such a task and Tasker will not show warnings about the consequences this deletion. i usually create and modify tasker profiles.i get a "sorry.Tasker cant be used unitl you purchase" notification in 6.2.0 beta . profiles  run but modify profile usually is interrupted .i didn't get this notification in the past.

 created a very simple fetch PoC that works perfectly fine in the tasker itself, but fails when I run it from a task exported as an app.

Code is a very basic GET request with some params to make sure that it works:

On Samsung Galaxy A13 I have Easy Voice Recorder Pro installed, I installed Tasker to be able to start and stop recording at given times. When I get to add an Action and go for Plugins, there's no Easy Voice Recorder plugin listed, only SMS Backup & Restore plugin is present. How do I get the EVR plugin to be listed here? Thanks.

My Tasker stopped working after 6 years on my Ugoos TV box. When trying to reinstall, it is not possible to pass the install screen with tickboxes as I am unable to tick the box battery optimization. My android TV box is always connected to power. Changing battery settings and reboots did not solve it.  What can I do?

Device: Fire HD Tablet 10 with Google Play Services Installed

I was able to download tasker from Google Play Store but I am getting stuck on the "Before We Get Started" setup screen. I am able to check off the three boxes but there is a gray box below that says "Check all checkboxes to proceed". 

Any work arounds for installing this? I triple checked to make sure that Tasker is not running with battery optimization.
