It seems like the latest Pixel update has screwed with any AutoTool functions that involve reading/writing to a file on your phone. It prompts you to grant permission, which you can do, but they refuse to be granted to Autotools regardless of how many times you try. JSON read and SSH functions have been impacted by this.

This helped me. so I disabled Lsposed and installed tasker from play store.

and I enabled Lsposed again because it is essential.

Tasker conflicts with Lsposed again and It shows me error on notification.

Error : License error : Invalid package name.

Dev, plz solve the issue with lsposed asap.

The help text for the Notification Removed event states that it doesn't work for Tasker-generated events. My testing tells me that this is not true, it doesn't work for notifications created by the same app that created the notification in the first place, not only Tasker. IMHO it should work as documented, letting kid apps react on the removal of their own notifications. It's really frustrating. I was running an app that I had already paid 4400 won ($4) to purchase and install from the Google Play Store. At some point, I kept getting pop-ups telling me to use the version I purchased from the play store, and I kept getting links to install tasker in my web browser! I user Tasker daily to disable internet on my phone during the night. This helps reduce battery drain and ensures no errant notifications try and bypass do not disturb.

The two actions in the task are:

Mobile Data -> Off WiFi -> Off

However recently I've started getting a persistent notification after this task activates "Trial Over. Sorry, Tasker can't be used until you purchase it from Google Play"

I'm unable to open Tasker when this occurs until I either manually re-enable internet or wait for the equivalent task to automatically enable internet the following morning.

last week I´ve received first Hyper OS update to android 14 for my Xiaomi Mi11 Lite 5G NE. I am not able to get Tasker turn off/on wifi without accepting a prompt message about turning wifi on/off. I´ve tried to sideload Tasker settings by adb USB(version 12, 17.1 and version for Huawei/Xiaomi) but with the same result. I´ve granted the permissions right after Tasker settings install and disabling battery optimization. It´s has been 10 years I am using Tasker, I hope we´ll solve the issue, obviously I am not the only one with this problem...

When I press the + button to create a variable then I type in the Variable name and press the ✔️, the variable fails to create.....

Hello, Tasker reports an authorisation problem when it should switch Wifi and root is disabled for Tasker. Tasker settings via ADB is installed.

My Pixel 4a does the same job without any problems. Are there any differences between 4a and 7a regarding wifi permissions? Someone mentioned this on Reddit.

Both devices run LOS 21.

I created automation when I launch wallet app, to enable nfc. And close it on exit.

The task itself work when I run it manually. However not when I lunch the app.

It worked before and stopped working.

The Variable Convert action will check if it can write to the variable used in Name even if Store Result In is used. If Store Result In is used, there should never be written to the original variable and therefore there is no need to check if it has write access to this variable.

Currently this will give the "Can't write values to variable structure" error if it can't write to the original variable, even if it will actually never attempt to.

Hello, since i updated to Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.1.0 (from Miui) a few days ago I am having issues with a prompt that appears every time tasker tries to toggle wifi. It keeps prompting me to allow/restrict the app to turn wifi on/off. I tried to install tasker settings 1.7.1 for Xiaomi (as described in instructions)  several times (including using adb method) but it does not work. I cannot see what I am doing wrong. Before the update I did exactly the same and it worked (that was on Miui). Is there any tips, workarounds or updates? Thank you!

Whenever I disable Tasker either using the quick tile "toggle" or in the Tasker app itself, I get an error message from Android Permission Manager that says, "Can't run Network Access with Tasker Settings. Otherwise, it works as intended and it does disable Tasker. Is there a work around for this? For now, I'm just dismissing the notification.

I updated Tasker and App Factory to the latest beta version (6.3.0-beta) and one of my array tasks no longer worked, it came up empty. So I uninstalled Tasker and App Factory and installed an earlier version where the task worked before (6.2.6-beta). I then imported my latest backup. But I am unable to export to an apk now, I keep getting errors. Please see attached files. At first they were about doodles, so I removed all my doodles from the project scenes. Still getting errors. I've no idea what to do and I am so frustrated when updating tasker

Sometimes when I exit Tasker, I get a popup about missing Accessibility Access permissions.

When I go to the Accessibility settings (clicking OK twice on the popup, or Android Settings => Accessibility), it says "Not Working. Tap for info." below Tasker.

When I tap that, "Use Tasker" is enabled but it says "This service is malfunctioning." at the bottom.

Disabling and re-enabling "Use Tasker" seems to fix it for a while, but this has happened multiple times now and it would be nice not to have to keep doing that :).

Tasker does not perform the task of switching bluetooth on/off. A message comes up that it is due to Google policy. I cannot use the " Auto off unpaired bluetooth" profile now. Is it possible to solve this problem?

I use the "Work Profile" Action to switch on and off the Work profile on specific times.

But if the phone is locked the "ON" action fails with Error code 1 and i have to put in the phone pin two times. How can i avoid this?

After buying the direct purchase version (for degoogled phone without Play Store), the link to download the app redirects to a Google Drive.

Would it be possible to host the APK file on a normal HTML page ?

Because a lot of people without Play Store use some sort on updating app like Obtainium to check and dowload for an update, but this is not compatible with Google Drive wich require a user action with Javascript.

Some information on this: The app "Easy Call Forwarding" can set Call forwardings with a simple tap on a shortcut. It does the same as tasker should do: Send an ussd code... So there should be a way for tasker to do it the same way.
