Get Location v2 error: "Location was disabled"
Hello
I am having an issue with using Get Location v2.
My device: Samsung Galaxy S9, Android 10, OneUI 2.5
Tasker: 5.12.22 and it has all permissions.
Location is definitely enabled on my phone and I am testing outdoors.
If I use only Get Location v2 the task will return this error
However if I add Get Location (v1) in front of it, it does work:
Enabling High Accuracy on v2 doesn't work and isn't really something I want to do.
I have no specific settings in v2, other than Last Location on Timeout and Enable if Needed there is

Rtl layout support
Hello, kindly support rtl layout, for languages that are written from right to left...
I would like all menus, settings, tabs, events and tasks (etc) to be indented to the right instead of to the left. Maybe a button in the settings that switch the layout easily?

AutoWeb - Toggl API - wrong, inactive server address
According to
https://github.com/toggl/toggl_api_docs
Using the API from toggl.com or www.toggl.com will be dropped at The End of June 2021. Switch to api.track.toggl.com
From about last week Toggl API in AutoWeb can't fetch data because it is still trying to use old, inactive address toggl.com. Please update to api.track.toggl.com

Clipboard monitoring makes keyboard to glitch
Hi. As always, huge thanks for continuing developing Tasker. Want to report bug. Latest 5.15.3-beta, Android 11 (LineageOS 18.1).
Steps to reproduce: 0. Important: bug "activates" only after some time after Tasker was launched, like few hours 1. Create single task with any single action which use %CLIP variable, e.g. make Tasker to monitor it (via workaround, yeah) 2. While typing anywhere mark text and press Copy / Cut, e.g. change clipboard 2.1 Even enough modify clipboard via shell: service call clipboard 2 s16 "text" 3. For a second *any* keyboard hides and appears again (shown on attached video) 4.

Dialogs Close Scenes
When I show a scene and in that scene there is an action that opens an activity, it is closed
But I found that if I create another sena that calls this action, I can use it correctly, but this could be implemented to avoid creating this scene to make this workaround

Tasker battery drain Samsung Galaxy S21 Android 12
Hi!
I'm having problems with Tasker draining battery. I use tasks for auto sync every hour, Cell near for wifi, auto sync on when power any and a gesture to start a app fhen flip phone.
For some reason after few days, battery starts draining faster. When I disable Tasker, exit and remove it from background, start Tasker again and enable it, everything works again. Then after few days battery again starts to drain faster. When I do the described steps, it works again a few days and so on.
I notice the battery drain in the morning, after charging

Autoremote error in Microsoft Edge
Hi, I'm unable to get my personal key on the autoremote extension. I installed it on Microsoft Edge (through the chrome web store), that worked well. But when I open the autoremote extension options it keeps showing 'Error getting personal key. Refresh this page to try again. Please contact the developer if the problem persists'. Thanks in advance!

Anomaly on taking into account calendar event
Hi there
I created a profile that performs tasks on a calendar entry ("Telework" in this case). The event is recurrent in my calendar. The profile works perfectly.
However, sometimes I have to change the date of one (or more) of my teleworking days.
In this case, the scheduled tasks continue to run on the days when there is no more telework in my calendar and, conversely, do not run on the days when I have moved the telework.
Any idea on solving the problem?
Thanks in advance.

"Perform Task" return does not write to task variable
As reported here: https://www.reddit.com/r/tasker/comments/wj17wy/perform_task_return_not_overwriting_task_variable/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
"Problem: A "Perform Task" return value does not write directly into a task variable, it should absolutely be able to, IMO. Or is it intended for some reason? I would guess it is the same for project/profile variables.
So currently I have to name the return %somename, then var set %taskvar=%somename.
Note that the "overwrite" and "replace on passthrough" are unrelated here, we're not talking about variable passthrough, but function call/return."

Old workaround possible for muting
On my Fairphone 4, Android 11, I ran into the known issue with Sound Mode -> Mute that you reported to Google in https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/205205662 (you can add the Fairphone 4 to the list of affected phones). I furthermore noticed that this old workaround on Reddit reliably sets the phone to Silent on my device:
- Set DND Mode "No interruptions"
- (Immediately) set DND Mode "Priority"
- Wait 50 ms
- Set DND Mode "Allow All"
Not sure if it works on the other phones, but I found it worth mentioning.

"Trial over" with degoogled phone, but I already bought it
I've been using Tasker on this device for a couple years. I purchased it many years ago and installed it via Aurora Store. Now, this device is EOL and I'm trying to migrate my Tasker profiles to a new phone. However, suddenly tasker won't run because my "trial" has expired. This is aggravating because I just want to export my profiles.
In this thread Joao said:
Tasker's Google Play version works by quering the Google Play store if it's licensed. If Google Play is not present then that will happen. You can always switch to the direct-purchase version that you

Unable to launch apps in Android 13
I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (not rooted). Previously on Android 12. Just upgraded to Android 13, on any tasks to launch apps, I get the error "Launch App: failed to launch com.sec.android.app.xxx". It doesn't read like a permission issue. Run Log just shows "err" on the launch app task.
I've tried re-setting cache from recovery menu. Also tried wiping data/cache for the tasker app.
Any suggestions?

Can't connect to adb wifi Error
Small white flashing box at the bottom of Tasker everytime I open it. It says "Can't connect to ADB Wifi. Check here: https://tasker.joaoapps.com/userguide/en/help/ah_adb_wifi.html"
This happens when I have zero profiles enabled, and ADB Wifi is disabled in Developer Options. I tried adding a port in the Tasker settings, but the error never goes away. Issue started after upgrading phone to Android 13, and was not having this nagging error message when running Android 12.
I've followed the directions on the link provided, but it works until Wifi Debugging is disabled (as I don't want it on), the phone is rebooted (scheduled

Custom Notification Icon can't use any variables
I tried creating a battery status of my Mi Band 5 using notify but I noticed that only % appears but the value of the variable is correct. (Ex: 26)
I also tried putting the number manually, it works. But if I'm using variable, it's not working. I even tried using Variable set just to convert the match from A1 to another variable but it also doesn't work and it shows %b instead. Meaning, it's not really converting the variable into its value. Just %battery.
