Tasker battery drain Samsung Galaxy S21 Android 12

Hi!

I'm having problems with Tasker draining battery. I use tasks for auto sync every hour, Cell near for wifi, auto sync on when power any and a gesture to start a app fhen flip phone.

For some reason after few days, battery starts draining faster. When I disable Tasker, exit and remove it from background, start Tasker again and enable it, everything works again. Then after few days battery again starts to drain faster. When I do the described steps, it works again a few days and so on.

I notice the battery drain in the morning, after charging the phone battery full in the evening. This doesn't happen after that very full charging.

I had this same problem with Samsung Galaxy S20 after Android 12 update, but thought it was related to that specific phone.

Now Tasker behavior is exactly the same on Samsung Galaxy S21 Android 12.

I think Tasker prevents the phone to go in deep sleep, but why after few days usage?

Hi. That's probably related to one of your tasks getting stuck in an infinite loop or something similar. Maybe check the run log for that? Thanks

It seems like clearing Tasker cache solves the issue. But after a several days battery drain is back. Clearing the cache solves this again.

Now it would be good to know, why this is happening? It started after upgrading to Android 12. Same behavior with Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy S21.

Did you check your tasks for infinite loops?
