Latest Android Update has killed file permissions within Autotools

Hi

It seems like the latest Pixel update has screwed with any AutoTool functions that involve reading/writing to a file on your phone. It prompts you to grant permission, which you can do, but they refuse to be granted to Autotools regardless of how many times you try. JSON read and SSH functions have been impacted by this.

I did manage to fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked.

Something definitely broke things with that update though, there have been some posts on reddit about the same issue.

Yeah, it's an Android bug that's usually fixed by uninstalling and re-installing the app. Glad it worked for you!
