I think they are most likely related to

"getResolvedVar: android.resource://net.dinglisch.android.taskerm/drawable/hl_aaa_ext_gear"

I am using that icon in my notification actions, and the gear icon does exist cause it shows. not sure why the warning though...

Not sure if there's anything that can be done, but update to Chrome 72 for Android causes webview to render a blank screen when the source is HTML, works inside Tasker but not as exported app.

Is Tasker supported for French accented characters? When a pushed notification (from Text Ingredient from IFTTT) reaches Tasker, those accented characters are not recognized by Tasker. What's wrong ?

When running Tasker on Android 8.1 I noticed that there's a small bug that doesn't always display the UI in the language selected in the Preferences.

I set up English as Tasker language and my Android is in Italian. The change in the UI happens sometimes when resuming the activity and I'm able to reproduce it, see my attached video record.

Open Tasker in Oreo, push the multitasking, rotate the screen back and forth, return to Tasker and you'll get some parts of the UI in the OS language.

I use a local work profile provided by Shelter for apps I need sandboxed for whatever reason. Unfortunately those apps don't show up in the list of apps for enter/leave profiles and things like AutoNotification just list resultant effects with a blank associated app (still works fine via title/text match though).

The list of available activities in "launch app" is not complete. E.g. 3C Toolbox Pro has a reboot menu which is displayed for selection in the activities list of Nova Launcher, but it is missing in the list of Tasker.

the shutdown and reboot commands of Tasker don't give alert to other apps what causes some problems. The Tasker help says that this is also an issue of all other apps. But the same commands of 3C Toolbox Pro and of Custom Quick Settings let other apps react correct.

Hi. I'm fairly new to tasker, so I'm sorry if this has a very obvious solution. I have this task running (picture attached). It is activated when my car Bluetooth is disconnected from the phone. When it runs, there is a 5-10 second delay between #5 and #6. Is this any way to make this more fluid and have everything back to back? This is the only task that I've had this issue with. Everything else works flawlessly. Thanks!

Using Tasker, Autoinput Root Screen capture and in the same folder used for storage I have a whole (65+) photos from another user including their pictures of hot rods, farm equipment and photos of tree trimming imported to my SD card and saved in the exact folder used for tasker screen capture... Yikes! 

Upon installation of a new device and the tasker restoration of data, tasker plug ins need to be re-edited manually (sometimes just click the edit button and exit is enough) to be able to work as it looks like otherwise it won't generate the variables. Even if each plug in app itself is opened beforehand, it stills need to be edited in tasker.

Though I don't know what either of those things means (does 'very low' mean it it takes a very strong shake, or a very small shake to hit the very low threshold? tasker runs on a Huawei P10.

after some days of try and error, i got the settings so tasker fires the

trigger for %BATT ervery one% of %BATT changes.

I tried it over 24 hours in power-saving mode and it works reliable.

Some days later, without changes anything in the settings, the %BATT trigger doesn´t

fire after 2hours in power-saving mode and I find no solution to fix it.

This seems to be very unreliable and it would be fine if you have a solution.

I have a profile that executes some task when notification is cancelled.

When i cancel a group of notification in whatsapp it doesn't execute task for last notification also doesn't execute task for single notification. On testing i discovered the button text variable isn't also set for the given condition.

For SMS Organizer although the button text is set but the button action isn't performed.

I tried to create a task where when I started "Car Mode", I would also light permanently the notification led in Blue color, so when driving I can check quickly if car mode is on and turn it off when car mode is off.

Could the sliders (SeekBars) used by Tasker actions be improve or made customizable in settings? I find it impossible to use the press-and-drag method -- they just don't move, and the click method is very hit-and-miss.  Using the arrows is often impracticable when the value range is large since the arrows change the value by only +/-1.  Also in some cases a "logarithmic" (actually "exponential") scale would be more appropriate, e.g. for setting a Beep tone frequency where getting somthing in the middle of the audio spectrum on a linear scale that goes from ~0 to 16000 is extremely awkward. 

I noticed that the "/" character is used as a separator if one wants to specify multiple networks. Can it be done so that double-division sign is treated like a single division sign but as part of SSID?

I have followed all the steps in the FAQ but my tasker keeps disabling itself on my device running 9.0 on Pixel 1

I want to disable my 'work' alarm when my calendar has an event 'holiday'.

The task 'Cancel alarm' only opens the alarm app on my phone, but does not cancel it. Makes no difference which mode (disable current, by label, any). I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 with Android 8.0, alarm app v7.0.92.4.

PS: The task 'Set alarm' actually does work.

PS2: also plugin 'ClockTask' wont disable an alarm.
