In the application context selection screen, make the frame around selected applications heavier.
When selecting applications, it is difficult to see such a thin line around the selected application.

Revamped flowchart-based UI
A new flowchart-based UI (along the lines of competing automation apps) for developing tasks would make it much easier to use the app and would make it much more accessible to a lot of people, as well as a lot less frustrating experience to get even simple things done. This would have the advantage of getting new users who always wanted to use Tasker but did not dedicate the time learning to do so.

Biometric Authentication Activity to take over back/recents.
Could we please have options to take control of back/recent button when Authentication activity is used?
In scenes, we can launch them as activities and capture the recent and back buttons and reassign their uses when open. This function would allow to prevent people attempting to bypass the feature.
Thank you.

Encryption on Tasker Exported Apps (Tasker Kid)
It nice to tasker can export to apk, but when you open apk as zip, it will show data xml is not encrypted, so someone can steal your hard work.
So could be nice to added Encryption at xml task on tasker kid, so someone will not kang it or modify it and then replace your name to their name.

Sync system account(s)
Idea for a Tasker action: sync system account(s), either
- all accounts or
- all accounts of a specific account type or
- a specific account (by name and type).
Use cases (examples):
- sync emails on certain occasions,
- sync DAVx⁵ accounts on certain occasions.
The action would have to
- enumerate affected accounts and then
- call ContentResolver.requestSync for each account.

Offer 'Android-System' as owner application of Notification events
The context for the notification event does not offer 'Android-System' as owner application. Is it possible to make it available?

Profile execution stats
Against each profile, show the date/time it was last executed. Additionally, touching the date/time stamp can bring up additional details like how long did the profile execute? How many times has it executed in the last day etc.
I would like already the last executed time stamp

Simple Link To This Idea Site From Tasker itself
Simple idea. Most people may not know of this site to goce feedback for tasker or add in their ideas. Be nice if there was a button somewhere in tasker that would bring you to this site.

Screen that lists each profiles "Launched Task Priority"
This would be extremely helpful for people with multiple profiles and projects to help determine which profiles have priority. Could be a simple menu listing: The Names of The Profiles | Project they are under | Launched Priority. And with this list you can click each one to sort from top to bottom or vise versa [EX: Clicking "The Names Of The Profiles tab would put list in order from A-Z , clicking again would put profiles Z-A.] Or [EX: Clicking Launched Priority would list them all 0-50, clicking again would list them 50-0.]
Now with Profiles that are Anonymous,

Ability for Tasker to keep scenes looking the same no matter the screen size
This is a must but also could be tricky. The problem with creating scenes in tasker is that device screen sizes can vary. This can make it a huge pain to create scenes on a large phone and then transfer them to other devices or vise versa. For example: Creating a scene that looks good on a Note 8 and then transferring it to a Galaxy S7 Edge. Scenes on the S7 Edge will look cramped together or the text sizes might be wrong. Makes it a pain if you have multiple Android devices with varrying screen sizes.

Add Scene State as Context
It would be helpful to be able to add a Scene State as a condition in the profile.
Example:
I have a ScreenFilter Overlay Scene that reduces brightness over night. Also I have a Profile that will destroy that Overlay Scene if ambient light is bright enough. However, as it's not possible in the profile to check if the scene's still visible the profile becomes active frequently running the enter task which checks for the scene each time just to stop the task again if the scene has already been destroyed.

Export scene by url
While profiles, tasks and projects can be exported by url, it can't be done with scenes. Adding this functionality will be helpful.

The ability to change the sensitivity of a sensor programmably.
As the title said, it would be great to be able to change the sensitivity of a sensor programmably.

Add root permission option to "Raed file" functionality
I have a task that reads a file and uses regex to to get some data, but the file is located in root directory.
Adding option to access root files to read will help, right now i have to copy the file to sdcard and read it.
Plz add this functionality.

Add a tab containing all currently active profiles
Like the title says, a way to see all the currently active profiles without browsing every single project
doesn't really have to be a tab, anything that lists them
-
Add a SIM filter to Received Text event
Currently, the "Received Text" event only allows you to filter by sender and content. It would be great if I could choose a SIM filter there as well which will allow me to forward all SMS' from SIM 2 only or it can be paired with the other two filters for even finer control.

Change Tasker's Quick Settings Tile label and App Shortcut Tasks
Tasker's default Quick Settings Tile is very useful for disabling/enabling Tasker, but can its label be changed from "Toggle" to "Tasker" to better describe its function?
In addition, can all of Tasker's default App Shortcut Tasks be included in the search list so that the App Shortcut Tasks can customized (i.e., reordered, remove individual commands, add other)?

Hotspot related contexts
Hotspot related contexts like notify if someone connects to my hotspot, block someone(disconnect as soon as someone connects), these are some great additions for a hotspot context in tasker.

Steganography Feature for Image
I have been trying to muck about with this myself for fun and had some success using Java tutorials online. However, it would really awesome if Tasker has Steganography features under the Image action feature, both encode and decode. Not only could images be embedded with data, but scanned for potential hidden text.

Color activation while tasks running
Would be useful to have color when a task is running (like the profiles have when active) as sometimes is handy to verify if tasks is running, particularly when inadverted infinite loops are create. Ofc if it's not resource heavy, even if only when tasker gui is open or as optional in settings.
