In the introduction to Tasker, there's a screen with a bunch of check boxes, one of which is to accept the terms and conditions. However, when that box is clicked, the terms and conditions do not appear. Instead, I get this error message:

"Couldn't get text. Please contact developer. (ja/disclaimer.html)"

I bought Tasker from the Japanese app store.

I tried with my system language in both English and Japanese (by the way, the Japanese language coverage is very inconsistent even on this first page, but that's something I expect and not a huge problem as long as the text in

App version 6.4.15, OnePlus 12 (however exported app was tested on multiple devices).

Steps to reproduce.

1. Create a new project
2. Create a new profile, select event "Tick"
3. Set for example 10000 ms as interval.
4. Set it to trigger a new Task, e.g. "ShowFlash".
5. Insert action "Flash" with a Text of e.g. "10 seconds".
6. Export the project as app.
7. Install the app.

Expected result: When app is run, every 10 seconds a flash is displayed.

Current result: Nothing happens.

Since version 6.4 I cannot Read Secure State sysui_qs_tiles anymore. This as possible up onto version 6.3

Since my Quest 2 (VR headset) does not have google play services, and i could not get them working with microg anymore, i opted for the direct purchase version. The app crashes on my device upon opening (in Tasker mode) or hangs (in Tasky mode) and i cannot enter the license. See the video that i attached to this post.

I am using AutoTools Regex with this regex: 

(Regex plus is enable as otherwise "(....|)" isn't working correctly.)

In my case "(?<end>.*)" matches the empty string, so %end won't be set.

Using "Test: %end" for "Output Text" lead to this exception.

I downloaded the trial for the first time today, it was suggested that I try to use Tasker to work with a BLE heart rate monitor to attempt to trigger alerts on rapid heart rate change and to periodically download the logs from the device since it keeps an internal log. I would like to test it out before buying if possible.

The task is not run if files are shared from the com.android.documentsui ("Files") app. However, the "Share Trigger" dialog box appears beforehand.

When setting up multiple received share events with filters and share triggers, all share triggers are displayed even if the filters don't match. I would like to propose to filter the share triggers before displaying the list.

This would allow using many received share events together with filters without having to scroll through a giant list of share triggers.

Right now the filters are a bit unintuitive and restricted if combined with a share trigger.

I guess this could only be done for the tasker share and not the automatically created share options for each trigger,  because the necessary info

This profile has stopped working on my devices (Samsung) with the current beta update 6.5.5. On other Device without automatic update (on 6.4.10-beta) this profile is still working. I tested the last official version (6.4.15) on the Samsung device by leaving beta and ... it is working again. So there might be a problem with this profile in the newest beta version (6.5.5) 

edit: I can confirm even on non-Samsung devices there is this issue with 6.5.5-beta and not with official 6.4.16.

using GET method on an API successful return, website backend logged as success, but return value cannot be store in the tasker variable

I've checked %http_response_length the correct response length was output as I tested on PC browser, and my Device file permission was allowed, but the variable was empty after I perform the task.

I am trying to get next item from list dialog via json file, working fine if record not found or single record, issue comes when there are multiple records found and i get list dialog with record 1 of 10, 2 of 10, 3 of 10, and so on for 10 records found but list record is not changing i.e. fist record only appearing while all other changes. my code

I want to report the remote execution problem. I couldn't import neither Google Cloud Service Account nor Google Cloud Firebase JSON files in Preference > Misc configuration as per step 3 from here. I have imported the JSON files using magnifying glass and copy-paste it directly to the corresponding input field, but it keeps showing error something like "Invalid JSON file, null" even though the JSON files of mine are not error and formatted correctly (you could see this post attachments for the evidence).

I use links linke "tasker://secondary?app=tc" to launch apps from my walltablet dashboards via Tasker.

This was working fine, one click and the action started.

But after updating Play Store Tasker version from 6.4.15 to 6.5.9 the browser asks me how to handle the links.

Tested on Samsung Internet and Chrome.

So now I need two clicks where before one was enough.

How to get the "old" behavoir back?

Monitor is running but nothing is detected. It has all the permissions it has asked for. Geofences and location are not required and so are disabled.

This is running on Graphene OS but Play Services is installed.

When Tasker has an active Lock Code and "Backup User Vars/Prefs" option is unchecked in preferences: 1. we shouldn't be able to export backup data, through the 3-button menu on top right, before inputting correct Lock Code

2. Project variable values shouldn't be included in the backup data. Same as global variables, they should be omitted in the Tasker backup data

I've been troubleshooting why Tasker's "HTTP Request" action fails to download from a Google Drive link, even though "HTTP Get" works perfectly. After some digging, I found a simple fix that makes "HTTP Request" behave like "HTTP Get" in this case:

I'm using a webview in a scene to show a mjpeg stream from an ip camera URL. The video do not shrink in the webview so only a part of the video size is visible. Maybe a config parameter could do the work
