When I create and add an exit task in Tasker it appears in the UI as a standard starting task (green arrow pointing to the right). I created many exit tasks before and it seems after a Tasker update Tasker has this UI bug where the exit task never shows with the red arrow pointing to the left like it used to.
It's still showing for me. Can you post an example image?
This was a false issue, I appologize for wasting your time. I nown remembered that exit tasks cannot be associated with event based profiles it seems to be only state based profiles to that a task could be created to exit from. When I would go to create an exit task I thought it was labeled exit task but I was really creating another task to associate with the profile. My apologies again.
