Connected to specific Wifi does not work always

I have a Wifi I regularly connect to.
I have a Tasker profile that reacts to this Wifi being connected to and does some tasks.
I recently enabled "Private DNS" setting in Android.
Unfortunately this specific Wifi does not allow encrypted DNS (a.k.a. Private DNS).
This means, I can connect to the Wifi successfully, but internet access over that Wifi is not working (exclamation mark besides the wifi symbol, internet not working with disabled mobile data).

I wanted to make Tasker disable "Private DNS" when connected to that Wifi and re-enable it when disconnecting to that Wifi.
Unfortunately, this does not work, as Tasker does not activate the Profile in this case.
It only activates the Profile when "Private DNS" is already disabled and thus internet over that Wifi is working already.

It would be great if Tasker could enable that Profile when connected to that Wifi, even if "Private DNS" is enabled.

Using "Wifi Near" to change the "Private DNS" setting is not really an option, as I need to quickly react to being connected to that Wifi and "Wifi Near" can need up to 30 minutes to react as far as Tasker is telling me.

HI

So the actual problem is that the Wifi Connected state does not trigger when the connected wifi does not provide internet access? Have you set Active to Any?

Oh great, somehow missed that, thanks.
That probably was the problem as I did not have "Any".
Will test when I'm back at that location.
Even better, that means I can automatically disable private DNS when connected to that Wifi. :-)
