After Android 14 update, Tasker no longer completes phone call / dial tasks.

I have a task that auto-dials MMI codes to turn on/off forwarding. This used to work fine, after an Android 14 update, the dial keypad pops up with the MMI code already entered, but does not actual dial the number. I have to manually click "call".

Hi. Did you enable the Auto Dial option in the Call action? I just tried it on Android 14 and it still works for me...

Same problem here. "Auto Dial" is enabled. Phone is Pixel 8.

Can you give me an example of a number that doesn't work? It works for me :/ Maybe your carrier/Google blocked something in their latest update?

MW

Google, maybe.

I use the USSD Codes **21*3311# (forward all calls to the voicebox) and ##002# (diisable all forwardings). it works with my older Pixel 6 on A13, but not with P6/P8 on A14.

Just tested: It dials, if i put the country code (+49) before the USSD-Code, but this brings an message "code faulty" back.

I'll try to find out how to deal with USSD codes from foreign countrys.

EDIT Direct Dialing works with phone numbers eg. 0123 4567890 or +49 1234567890

It doesn't work with USSD-Codes. Seems to be a problem of the dialer app...

Yeah, I don't think it's something I can fix, sorry. I'll mark this as resolved now.
