Automate some forwarding functions between two phones running Android 9+.

I have just started a new job and am forced to use a second cell phone. So I now have a cell of work and one for personal. luckily both are running Android but not the same account. What I'd like to do is the following:

1) Auto-forward SMS messages

2) Call forward (can be done by cell provider) but want to send SMS notification of the call that came in or VM left in box.

3) Auto-forward Android notifications from one phone to the other.

*4) Auto reset audio and screen levels once a day, maybe more if need to turn down volume or adjust screen level for meeting, etc...

*5) Toggle on/off BT and Wifi on schedule.

I have seen your Join App but it requires that both devices be logged into the same account and that cannot happen in my case.

My concern is since I have updated to Android 9, some of these features will not work (eg. 4 and 5) unless the phone awake or app or feature to be toggled is active. I understand it's a power-saving method but it puts the functions to sleep and will not trigger some actions especially those that run on a schedule. I have tried this on another automation app and it worked while in Android 8 but not after Android 9 update. Have tried removing Battery Optimization for the specific apps and for the whole phone without success.

What you can do is setup Tasker to trigger on all those situations and then send notifications or pushes to the other phone via Join :)

Ok.

You're confirming that it will not have any issue for scheduled triggers if the specific triggers are not active.?

And for Join. I will not need a Google account or use different accounts and still work?

You shouldn't have any issues. When you push something from one device to the other the other device should wake up and act on it.

About Join you need a Google account yes.
