Google Calendar Entry - State in Profile

I created a profile that detects if a calendar event is active using the State>App>Calendar Entry function.  It has worked for a number of years.  This past week it stopped working.  It is not detecting when the event is active.  I tried adding a new calendar to the Google Calendar and accessing it through Tasker and it does not display.  I have also tried toggling the calendar permissions in Tasker and that has not helped.  It seems Tasker is not accessing the Google Calendar at all.

If you use the helper in the Calendar condition, is Tasker able to detect your calendar and its events?

I assume you mean the search helper?  Yes and No.  I created a new calendar and it did not appear after 15 minutes or so.  I changed the name of the calendar I wanted to use and it did not change right away but after a number of hours the name did change.  So it seems it can communicate with Google Calendar but not instantaneously.

To update, when I do not sync my calendar, the search helper does not present my events.  When I sync it, the search helper does see my events.  But the state still does not work.

What if you always leave the sync enabled? Can that help?

I have left the sync enabled.  Still the state does not recognize my event.

Is it maybe something specific about that event? Does it work for other events perhaps?

No, it isn't working with any events.  This started around the same time the Pixel 6 update happened so I'm wondering if it has something to do with that.

I see some other people are having trouble with the calendar state lately, so yes, seems likely that it's an issue with some update people are getting. I'll see if I can find what the issue is, thanks!

Can you please try creating a new profile with the Calendar state and leave every input field empty and in the task simply show a toast or a notification for example? Does that trigger the task?

I just tried today and the Calendar entries are now all working.  Not sure what changed.  I did get a Pixel security update yesterday.  But I tried right after it installed and there was no change.

Great, glad it works again! :) Must've been some Google Calendar bug!
