tasker on the pixel 5 will NOT run any profiles

Ever since I upgraded to the Pixel 5 I can't get Tasker to do anything at all. I used to have a profile that would run when connected to my car's BT. That no longer works. I tried changing the profile to trigger when I started my podcasts app (Pocket Casts) and that didn't work either.

In addition, I keep getting the message to install ADB on my phone. Well, I've tried that several times using the instructions provided but, apparently, it hasn't worked.

Help! Please.

Hi there. 

I have a Pixel 5 and it still works 100% for me. 

About ADB, it's not installed on your phone but on your PC.

Can you please export one of your non-functioning profile's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the profile in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance

Loading the Tasker Settings app and then setting up the ADB Wifi appears to have solved the problems. Many thanks.
