I would like to ask you if a dedicated action to reroute audio from one channel to another could be included on future Tasker releases, if possible.

The idea comes from the SoundAbout app, and my task where I have managed to do a basic routing using the Multimedia audio channel. (by now)

Put the reason why the event occurred in the event parameters. I'd like to customize my Monitor task for the various reasons this event occurs; phone boot up, Tasker enabled, new version of Tasker installed, system update, etc.

I've been trying to manage my sip settings on my phone using Tasker. You see, I have some settings in my calling accounts. You can see them if you open your phone app then go to the menu and settings and tap calling accounts. I know that these settings are often locked out or grayed out or inaccessible. That's cuz the carriers don't want people using free voip and would rather those options go away. Anyway, none the less I wiped my phones firmware and went with Lineage OS, which works great. I have installed a number of different "voices" on my phone. In my case Samsung ones, but it might be Google ones. I did this for an air traffic control game, so that the pilots did not all sound the same. The game lets you choose from all the different installed voices.

I would really like to be able to select different voices to be used with different SAY actions.

Right now File List action puts every Dir and File into an array. There should be a option to limit the Array to just Dirs or File or Both. Its annoying when you want move APKs files into a APK Dir, etc. 

Sometimes when displaying scenes or web screens, it's useful to know whether the status bar is 'light' or 'dark'. While you can do find out using AutoInput's screen capture action, it's not very reliable or efficient, flashes a somewhat distracting black bar, and can't be used to detect changes between the two states.

Currently, if a task enables or disables a state profile while the relevant state condition is satisfied, Tasker recognises the state as being entered or exited. E.g. given a profile state %Var ~ true, if %Var is indeed set to 'true', disabling the profile triggers the associated exit task, even though %Var is set to 'true' still. The state has not been exited. While this may be useful at times, it's surprising behaviour, and if you're not aware it's how profile states function, it's difficult to isolate as the source of tasks not performing as expected.

I would love to be able to move the screen/content, for example to ignore notches and punch holes. This action would allow to use the whole screen regardless of any cutout.

Some elements could be not accessible anymore, that's why it's important to be able to do it quickly and be able to set it per app basis. It's the responsibility of the user to set this up and to use it. There should be a warning, that user could make the device not accessible if they use wrong numbers.

As we can use caller name or number as LOCAL variable. Can you add last missed call number and name as local variable? 

An option in the loop (If, For) blocks to automatically display in collapsed view when editing the task. Possibly a set of dummy blocks under Misc whose only purpose is to collapse chunks of code. 

I wanted to export some of my profiles and task as an app but I can select only one task as the launch app. I decided to have the launch task to launch a scene that helps me select which profile I need to set it on but also need homescreen shortcut of one task that when clicked, locks the screen (system lock). If app factory could embed widgets or shortcut  than that would help. And also package some external files like sound files in the apk created by App Factory. 

Conditionals don't support this way of checking, although it's needed sometimes. Checking for %VOLM, for example. At some point your volume is neither greater, nor less than some value, and your flow stops, you need to make one more check for equality.

As we discussed, "xposed edge" module provides wi-fi connection trigger without asking to leave gps on all the time. It would be great if Tasker could make use of some root features too in these cases.

If just one action in a task has been selected by long pressing on it, allow a second long press on a different action to select that one, and all the actions in between the two actions. Like Shift+Click on a list in windows.

This would be so much easier when there are quite a few actions to be selected and you have to scroll the list.

This should be fairly simple to implement as native Android already allows for this feature. I think I might be able to control the user agent with Java code injection but haven't been able to successfully make this work. It would be really great if we were able to load full, desktop-mode webpages in our projects and apps we make with Tasker, without having to use a plugin or chrome web view window.
