Would be really nice feature, oh my god.

Meanwhile, if you or another user want to manage to do that, I have created a project. You can try it if you want ;)

I tried to get it working, but it is a little bit difficult for me, with the installing and configuring of so many apps.
I hope you will design the final version so easy to use how other WOL-Apps are?

Yeah, I was already planning to try to simplify the process, or at least create a videotutorial to guide the user. I will tell you here when done.

Note: In the project, what makes a bit more difficult to use it, in my opinion, is the hability to power it off too, as it needs EG app and/or AR plugin (both Android and Windows) to communicate with each other to generate the status messages that the project shows to the user. So, I think I could build a simpler project version that it may not require any plugin or external app (for PC) at all to work, just import it into Tasker and you will get it working. But it won't give the user the possibility to turn the PC off, as there won't be any way to make the PC to receive cmds from Tasker.

You thought further than me :) I have only linux system so I use the ssh plugin to shutdown. My intention for the request was only the simple WOL function. This would make other WOL-apps unneccessary. The features you describe will surely help other users too and make the tasker simpler to use. Maybe this could be the next stage?

Yeah, I will definitely create a separate project version that will just send the WOL signal, nothing more, and I think I can make it without plugins.

Hello, could you work on the WOL-project?

Are you talking to me? Or to Joao?

If me, yeah, this is the next project I will start working on now. I hope it's finished asap. I will share it here when done.
