I fully support the idea. The main problem is that it's not possible to choose a custom icon for standard Tasker "Notify" action (I use them heavily) . It's very limited (no outline type of icons at all) and outdated set of material icons. So probably you will stuck with what we have now in Tasker and it won't correspond your tasks icons.

If someone will give me the link to a guide how I could make an icon pack (such tasker suggest to download from Play store) I'll be appreciate this and will try to do it for myself.

For the task icons I highly recommend https://icon.kitchen/ it allows to make beautiful material icons with cool gradients. Would be nice to have such functionality in Tasker with updated material icons eventually. I also recommend to search cool gradient color combos in Google. It provides plenty of links. The result is very beautiful for my taste.

The Tasker beta now supports using any file or URL as the notification icon :)

Hi joaomgcd

Excellent pack that is. These icons may added to tasker . Users don't need to download extra icons.

I second the use of icons from https://materialdesignicons.com/

That is a fantastic set but is very large.. perhaps keep the small set included with Tasker as-is but add the ability of downloading/caching individual icons from the site when they are used in tasks?
