Notification Actions on Pie
Actions do not show in notifications using Android 9. Neither wehen configured in Notify nor in Tasker itself.

Yeah, notification buttons still have icons on Android 5 and 6 if I'm not mistaken. They were removed in 7.
About those working on the lock screen, yeah, I could make them work on a locked screen too. Maybe the previous developer didn't do that because of privacy concerns?

Hi, thanks for your reply. So i took a look at my configurations again and oh dear...
For Notify it turns out, that the Action only had an Icon but no Label configured. After setting a label the Action shows up as text. The action's icon still doesn't show up though, but did that ever work on any Android version? Maybe you could avoid the next user's confusion by adding a note to the help text...
For the Tasker Notification Action Buttons it turns out I just had confused them with the App Shortcut Tasks settings. Guess it made more sense for me to look for them in the Action tab then in the Monitor tab... :)
Sorry to have bothered you with my mistakes.
Maybe one more question: Why do the Quick Settings Actions require unlocked screen while the Notification actions do not? Would it be possible allow the former too when on lockscreen?
