Make %DATE and %TIME fully formatable

Please, add feature to format these built-in variables

%TIME hours, minutes, seconds, separator, sequence, format of hours

%DATE year, month, day, separator, sequence, format of year and month

That is another workaround, but rather complicated. In certain circumstances it takes to much time to call another task. I write to a log file when the phone shuts down. getdateformatted sometimes takes to much time before the phone shuts down. the cmd workaround is faster and easier.

Nevertheless, I'd prefer Tasker to format the date within the action where the %DATE% is used.

Can you please describe how the user would be able to format those variables in the user interface for each action that supports variables? I think you have already an idea of the user interface or the syntax and maybe it can be an inspiration for João.

Maybe something similar to the CMD or the getdateformatted features:

%TIME%[%H:%M:%S] or %TIME%[HH:nn:ss]

As a suggestion to you, why not just getting that info using the 'date' cmd (no root)?

The output will be 100% fully customized to your needs.
