Long-press on variable names to flash current value

I think it would be very helpful if, when creating tasks, we could Long-press on variable names in the list that pops up after hitting the "tag" button, to see what is currently stored in that variable. Most likely in a flash notification.

If it helps, I took a screenshot of what it would ideally look like:

Thank you for your time and consideration. Keep on being awesome!

Ok, think I fixed the issues now :)

Can you please try this version? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UfMEt1H6wjlMDdsqByn-flCRqE45PdJ1/view?usp=sharing

Works like a charm. Thanks again!

Keep on keeping on. :)

Hi there, thanks for the request! Can you please try this version? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UfMEt1H6wjlMDdsqByn-flCRqE45PdJ1/view?usp=sharing

Implemented it :)

An excellent improvement. Thank you.

The flash appears with all variables (global, local, tasker and user), but only one value is shown when it is a global Tasker variable, and has an assigned value. I think that a value should always be shown, and if it has no value assigned, show the name of the variable, as normally happens.

Thanks so much!

It does seem to work with all the native global variables, but it didn't seem to display the correct value when I tried it with user-created global variables. It just flashes blank text rather than the value that is stored in the user-set global variable.

Sorry to make things complicated! :)

I appreciate all of your hard work, João!

Or simply put the value in brackets after the name. This would be helpful as I e.g always have to look up what %SCREEN contains: on, On or ON. (Correct answer is: on)

this would be even better!

I thought about this as well before posting. The downsides I could see happening with this is that some default variables can be very long, such as the %WIFII variable. Multiple lines long, and wouldn't really show up.

Additionally, it might be a little taxing on the system to query every single variable just to display it after the variable, whereas having it pop up (either as a Flash alert or as a textbox you can copy text from), it is on-demand.

Just my thoughts on it though.
