I've figured it out and came to delete the idea but there were no options to do so, my apologies.

The phone ringing event works only for incoming calls. 

Is there an event which triggers when the dialled call is accepted?

For example I want to autodial a number (which I know how to do) and when the recipient accepts the call I want to play an audio file on speaker so he can hear that. 

Phone offhook event doesn't work here because it gets triggered immediately when the number is dialled, but I need an event which triggers when the call is accepted by recipient.

Found a way to do this. This reddit comment contains the answer.
