AutoPi plugin

Any thoughts of making a plugin for Raspberry pi interface?  It would be convenient to start or stop a python file remotely, or interrogate the pi for a variable value.

You can already execute SSH commands with AutoTools. Would you need anything else?

Because I can't figure out the SSH function in AutoTools and can't find support
