Some people (including myself) would probably prefer creating a separate Taskernet account instead of tying it to their Google account (or any other service, for that matter). It would be great to see such option in the future.
I’m also looking for this feature. It would be great if Taskernet let us sign up with a regular username and password instead of forcing a Google login.

It's been 7 years since this request was made, and many users, myself included, would greatly appreciate the option for a separate taskernet account instead of relying on Google login. It would enhance privacy and control. I really hope to see this feature implemented soon
I really don't like the idea of storing passwords on my server... 😅 Would other social logins be good enough?
