Autoinput Actions not saving (Android)

Hi All, 

Have a Samsung Fold 4, Android. 

I'm trying to modify the existing 'text' element of an auto input (v1) click action in tasker but after I manually change the text and click back, the text field doesn't change.

Easy input also does not work. On the Autoinput screen, I get this error message on the bottom 'Please touch tasker on this list'. 

But there is no list. 

When create a new autoinput action, the fields remain blank. 

Tried Autoinput v2, but nothing saves there too.

I've tried disabling and re-enabling accessibility and clearing data and cache.  

Summary: I cannot modify or create autoinput actions in Tasker.

Would someone help me please?

Hi. Do you maybe have developer options enabled on that device? If so, did you maybe enable the Don't Keep Activities option there?

1. Developer options is on, :Don't keep activities is OFF'

2. I just tried turning off developer options and retried changing autoinput 'text field', but changes don't save

Some other ideas please? 

Do other plugin actions save normally?

Hi Joao, only using tasker functions like send SMS (Works!) and Autoinput v1 (doesn't work). 

I tried autoinput v2, setting a click + text action, and I get an message at the bottom 'Set clipboard to the actions. Please paste it in the dialog' 

I remember last year there was an Android update causing issues with Autoinputv1, so I downloaded an older version (as per the advice on forums here). Maybe that? 

Should I uninstall autoinput v1 and reinstall from Play Store? Or should I download autoinput v2? 

After it's pasted in your clipboard are you able to paste it in the input field and then accept the action?

No, with V2, it won't save either

Page stays blank. 

'Error: no plugin configuration data.'

Unfortunately I can't reproduce the issue myself, so I can't find out what's wrong :( I'll keep trying, sorry!

If it helps, I'm using tasker Version 6.6.20
