Opening / closing wallet app does not trigger automation

I created automation when I launch wallet app, to enable nfc. And close it on exit.

The task itself work when I run it manually. However not when I lunch the app.

It worked before and stopped working.

Is that the Google Wallet app?

If so, try selecting the "Google" app from the list of apps. In the background, the Wallet app switches to that.

I tried adding to the trigger Google Wallet, Google, and Google Play (all together) but still the same.

I wanted to add also the Google Pay, but it is not listed in the application list.

Any other idea?

Can you please use the Report Issue To Developer option and send me a report showing that happnening? Thanks in advance

From those logs, the apps that were opened were Google Play Services and Pixel Launcher. Could you try using one of those? Thanks

Glad to share that in one of the last updates of google Wallet, the issue was resolved by itself. Only identifying the wallet app open close is triggering the automation.
