Update User's Guide

Many sections of the User's Guide have not been updated since Kitkat. New options have been added, new restrictions added or removed, ect. In some cases the information is simply incorrect.

Sections in the guide should also include:

  • Any OS requirements or restrictions
  • If root is needed
  • Special permissions needed

I know that updating and maintaining the User's Guide is a monumental task, but I think it is essential to maintaining the usefulness and popularity of the app.

Yes, I use wifi near daily without turning on wifi. It uses very little battery as far as I can tell.

One notable example is Location without tears.   On that page, it states that wifi near scanning has high power usage almost as high as doing a GPS location.

This may have been the case back when wifi had to be toggled on to do a scan. However, Android 6+ has built in wifi scanning which is very battery efficient.
