Scene use of a temporary variable as Element Default value

I have a scene containing a Number Picker element but I have found that I cannot set the default value using a temporary variable, as the keyboard only lets me enter digits. It would be good if a normal keyboard be displayed when selecting the default value field. This might apply to other element types as well. Thanks for listening.

You can insert a variable via copy and paste. Or just use the top right button that is located at that text field

No, paste does not work in the Number picker Default field. Eventhough Paste and other options appear when long-pressing, tapping Paste does nothing.
The variable selection only lists global variables. I would like to use a local variable, set in the task that shows the scene.
