Calendar data not found in TEST APP

I migrated my phone from a Samsung S10+ Note to a Samsung S22 Ultra over the weekend and have discovered I no longer get any output for the TEST APP for the Calendar actions.  This had worked flawlessly and reliably on the Note for the 3+ years I had the Note.  When I run the

TEST APP - CALENDAR/DESCRIPTION/LOCATION/TITLE returns blanks for the arrays even when there are both interval and all day events to report.

Using the Calendar state to trigger a PROFILE seems to find all the calendars and trigger appropriately.

ANY insights or options to try would be appreciated.  LOGCAT does not seem to have any calendar related loggings to review.

THANKS!

Thank you. I tried deleting and adding a new, recurring all day event. The TEST APP I ran did not see it but did see another single event I had scheduled from 0000 to 0200.

Thank you. Ok, I tried something else.

Can you please try this version? https://drive.google.com/file/d/19w0kkEle9oinGusDHMe-1f1u6_xuuifD/view?usp=sharing

If you want you can also check any previous releases here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GW55YKFiuOZhJVswnt_BQUCJoGm36ugF?usp=sharing

Sorry for the delayed reply but I do not see any change. I had previously downloaded 5.15.14 from your beta site. This morning, I also had a Google calendar update. I changed my event I set my alarm clock with back to an all day recurring event and TEST APP did not see anything. For what it's worth, my current process sets the time I look at the calendars as 0130 AM.

Could you please try creating a recurring, all day event today (you can delete it after the test), just to test it out and see if it works? Thanks in advance.

Joao,

I think what you directed to me in that link may be the case but it is odd that it is not a problem for my old phone unless the calendar was "rebuilt" on the new phone under the new rules.

I have downloaded and installed 5.15.14 beta but it did not resolve anything for me.  I can work around some of the events I use as triggers by changing them from "All Day" to running from 0000 to 2359 so my most critical issue is addressed for building my alarms but other events, like day of year calendar and birthdays, are something I cannot control or change (that I am aware of).  Frustrating Google would make such an arbitrary change that has such profound effects.

Maybe this is the signal to me there are better ways for me to manage my alarms and calendar events and to reengineer that process.

THANKS!!!

Yes, it's not a Tasker issue but rather a Google one. They broke full day recurring events in the calendar database. I need to try and see if I can find a workaround for the issue...

Actually, I just tried it today and the issue didn't exist anymore with the Test App action. Can you test it with the latest version from Google Play? The latest version is 5.15.4

Thanks!

Joao, that is entirely possible although it seemed to work fine on my Note10 (Android 12) before I ported to my new phone.  Most of those calendar events had been in place for a couple months - likely before my old phone was upgraded to Android 12.  I use one of my calendars to build my alarm clocks depending on whether I am in the office or telecommuting or other.

The problem is that Google introduced a bug in the sync process recently and broke this... check the reddit thread for more info..

I will add I am not sure if this is not some odd anomaly with my Google account as it ported to the new phone. I have discovered something on my Drive I did not have update access to even though I was listed as the owner. I had to create a copy to restore that access.

Thanks. Can you please check if that's happening for recurring, all day events? If so, it may be the same issue as described here:  https://www.reddit.com/r/tasker/comments/t56y1z/dev_tasker_51513_more_bugfixes_workaround_for/

Hi! What exactly do you mean by "TEST APP"? Thanks
