I can't find out how to create a task which allows me to take a screenshot by holding down the power button.
The video on how to create a task does not display on my phone.
Surely someone could produce a simple step by step outline on how to do this
Hi. As far as I know there's no direct way to do this. At most you could create a Power Menu Action to take the screenshot on Android 11+. Is that what you mean?
Yes that's what I mean. But I can't find any simple instructions on how to create a task.
Simply create a task that has the Take Screenshot action and then use that in the Power Menu :)
Yes but how do I do that? I can find no instructions that tell me how to create a task! If I press + and search for "take screenshot" it finds an "action" with those two words but nothing I press on that screen does anything! I can see how this would be a very useful tool but if I can't use it I have wasted my money!
