No permission to check license

Hi,

I had Tasker installed on a new Samsung S21 running Android 11 - this was installed as part of migration from old to new phone. On the new phone I've never run Tasker, or set it up at all.

I've kept getting toast type messages randomly appear on my phone saying there was no permission to check for a license. I had no idea which app was causing this, but after pulling the logs I can now see it was Tasker. ADB logcat snippet below:

I've since run Tasker and accepted terms and conditions etc so hopefully it will stop now.

That means that Tasker can't access the Google Play Store app to check for its license. Do you know why that may be?

Hi, Mr. Dias, I'm having the same problem. I would purchase Tasker again from the Play Store if it would let me do so to resolve the problem. My concern is that I didn't backup my Tasker automations before this issue popped up. I don't know what started it.

Been having the same toast message for a while (on phone restart). And today the app says trial expired and forces me to the store to purchase
