    Bluetooth disconnect device not working?

Peter Kingswell · 5 · Last reply by Peter Kingswell

    Hi,

I want a Task that will disconnect my headphones. So I created a Bluetooth Connection Task as you'd expect but when I execute it, the headphones are still connected.

Any tips on what I should be doing? I've tried matching by MAC address and name to no avail.

On my pixel 3a XL the next alarm time on the android lochscreen and in the status/ notifications bar is displayed always 00:00 for me. I thought this was a Google bug, but I found on the Google reports that it is this app what causes it. So here some more.

    2. I'm a devel so I can somehow figure out in my head what I'd like to do, but there is no clear way in HOW, in tasker. Using automate with diagrams is super easy, using tasker superhard. Not because of task itself, but because of insanely hard way to navigate around. I gave an example: I created profile: if battery

Do we have the chance to use the input tap function with percentage values instead of X and Y coordinates?

Tasker is sometimes disabled until I log in to Google Play

Henry · 1 · Last reply by João Dias

    What I did

I paid for Tasker and signed out of Google Play. I have most app permissions turned off. I use a Google Pixel with LineageOS 16, an Android 9 variant.

    What I expected

I thought that I could use Tasker while signed out of my Google account.

    What actually happens

Every few days I get a notification: 'Trial period ended. Sorry, you can't use Tasker until you purchase it from the Google Play Store.'

If I open Tasker, the Play Store quickly opens instead.

When I log in, the notification vanishes and I can use Tasker again.

    https://tasker.joaoapps.com/userguide/en/faqs/faq-problem.html

Automate some forwarding functions between two phones running Android 9+.

    P. Vitulli · 2 · Last reply by João Dias

I have just started a new job and am forced to use a second cell phone. So I now have a cell of work and one for personal. luckily both are running Android but not the same account. What I'd like to do is the following:

    1) Auto-forward SMS messages

    2) Call forward (can be done by cell provider) but want to send SMS notification of the call that came in or VM left in box.

    3) Auto-forward Android notifications from one phone to the other.

*4) Auto reset audio and screen levels once a day, maybe more if need

    Several feature requests

    Dark Phoenix · 0 · Posted

    1. Remotely executing shell commands or even tasker tasks over internet. Now adb WiFi helps us execute remote shell commands over WiFi only on the same network devices. If the device is in another network, it won't work. We can't use IP as communication as most phones gets dynamic public IP. So if we want to execute remote tasks or shell commands to another device's tasker over the internet, we may need some kind of account authentication or key authentication.

    2. Still now we have to create scenes with fixed dimensions. Which is fine for device with same resolution. But

    Customization of Monitor Notification

    Flu Paper · 0 · Posted

Looks like it has been put forward already: 1. Can the text in Tasker's notification be customized? 2. Customisable profile banner in notification area I just wanted to ensure its usage and profits are recognized.

Customize the permanent monitor notification though actions. So that users would be able to design a more personalized one, like CPU info, network speed or so.

Yes, the effects it bring will not be of importance for Tasker users (since it doesn't matter if notify another permanent notification for them), but benefit the generated apps' developers and users (since it feels weird if a standalone app posts two permanent

    App Creation: Default Icons

    Flu Paper · 0 · Posted

Currently, icon of Tasker-generated apps is defined by the icon of the profile.

But an modern Android app is supposed to have more: different icons in different shapes, default icon in quick settings when it haven't been added, and maybe so on.

    That's it.

Option in Posting Permanent Notification: "Keep Service in foreground"

Flu Paper · 1 · Last reply by Flu Paper

Service of Tasker-generated App will not function as expected (being killed) when the memory gets low in my device. Enabling "Run In Foreground" option by running "Set Tasker Pref" action do have an effect on solving it. 🙂

But my problem, is that the service of my App originally posts a permanent notification which shows its state and is able to receive some actions designed by myself. Having the option enabled makes duplicate notifications. Quite weird I felt. 🤔

The solution I came up with is adding an option which makes it possible to keep monitor service running in foreground

    if %TIME = 9.29 then %TIMEVAR = %TIME+.01 returns 9.3

When adding a minute to a time variable, the result drops any trailing zero, invalidating the resultant time variable.

OR, the timer doesn't respect 1 digit minute decimal value of time variable.  Which is odd, because it is fine with the 1 digit hour portion.

Workaround: add a minute to the time, split the time by "." then append 00 to the 2nd portion and and select the left most 2 char before finally putting it all back together.

    next alarm filter

squwal · 1 · Last reply by João Dias

    Hi,

Is there a way to add a filter for the next alarm package provider ?

Because I want to put the date and time of my next morning alarm in a http post, but the %na variables are always overrided by different packages than the clock.

    Example :

My next morning alarm is in 2 days.

    Now :

    - %na_day value is today

    - %na_time value is 21:04

    - %na_package is com.android.providers.calendar

If I create an alarm today I can sometime have the value of this alarm and the good %na_package : com.android.deskclock but most of the time it

Tasker "time context" cannot restore previous state switching off the phone

    Hello,

I am able to setup a "time context" from time X to time Y. If I switch OFF the phone while the profile is active, Tasker is not able to restore the previous state later. E.g. a task to set "Do not disturb" mode ON from late night to the early morning.

    Is it ok as expected?

Remove touch highlight when touching scene element (like an image)

Since the highlight follows the tasker accent, maybe adding a transparent highlight would allow it to be invisible? Or adding a dedicated option would be great.
