I am reaching out because I am currently using Tasker on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and I am interested in integrating it with the Dual Messenger feature for certain apps like Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Telegram.Specifically, I am looking to find the package names for the secondary instances of these apps, as I would like to be able to launch them using Tasker's capabilities. Despite exploring various settings and options within Tasker and on my device, I have not been successful in locating this information. Could anyone in the community

I have an issue that causes the manual screen rotate button to glitch. This is the button that allows you to rotate the screen orientation when auto-rotate is off and the device is tilted. Normally it appears in the bottom right corner and shows a smooth animation. However with the AutoInput accessibility service enabled, the button flickers erratically and the animation restarts tens of times per second. This bug is purely cosmetic and does not affect the functionality of the button.

Actions that do not have a permission should request it before executing or at least have the option to enable or disable the request and not just show an error in notifications.

Each element of a scene can be configured independent tasks according to the user's interaction with that element but that cannot be executed outside of that interface, exporting the scene I find that each action of those elements has a unique id (task####), so I wondered if this would be possible to add in some update, it is practical and necessary.

Environment:  Android 14

Problem:  Not directly an issue with Tasker.  If Microsoft Defender (the "MSDefender" app in the app drawer) has Privacy Protection enabled, this will cause failures of any REST Request calls with an Error 1 Wait failure.  It may appear that something is wrong with your statement, but the request is being blocked externally from Tasker.  A little obscure but readily addressed.

Workaround:   Either disable Privacy Protection or follow these steps to exclude Tasker from being blocked:

1. Open the MSDefender app
2. In the Privacy Protection tile, select the arrow ">" in the lower right corner
3. Towards the bottom

V otevřené aplikaci Tasker nelze v menu otevřít pomoc: gesta a ani uživatelská příručka. Oba dva výše zmíněné odkazy doprovází stejné chybové hlášení. Taktéž nelze otevřít v menu UI stáhnout jazyk češtinu a následně ho i použít . Jazyk se sice stáhne ale následně to hlásí chybové hlášení, soubor je poškozen. Zkoušel jsem stažený soubor jsem rozbalit jak v programu WinRAR tak v programu ZArchiv. Bohužel bezúspěšně v obou případech hlásí poškozený soubor z toho důvodu nelze rozbalit . V příloze zasílám screenshoty všech výše zmíněných problémů . Ještě dodám, ale tím si nejsem úplně jist, mám zaplacenou za verzi,

I am attempting to create a profile that notifies me when a package has been delivered.

The setup should be straightforward:

If a notification from the shop app contains the phrase "your package is here" in its title, execute the "play sound" task.

However, this profile is not functioning as expected. I'm using the app automateit to send custom notifications on command to test if the profile is working properly, but the profile fails to recognize the notification.

It seems like the latest Pixel update has screwed with any AutoTool functions that involve reading/writing to a file on your phone. It prompts you to grant permission, which you can do, but they refuse to be granted to Autotools regardless of how many times you try. JSON read and SSH functions have been impacted by this.

Tasker on rooted Redmagic 9 Pro.

screen is on but time is reached. but nothing happening.

run log does not show error, and it is shows empty list - the profile not started at the time.

This helped me. so I disabled Lsposed and installed tasker from play store.

and I enabled Lsposed again because it is essential.

Tasker conflicts with Lsposed again and It shows me error on notification.

Error : License error : Invalid package name.

Dev, plz solve the issue with lsposed asap.

The help text for the Notification Removed event states that it doesn't work for Tasker-generated events. My testing tells me that this is not true, it doesn't work for notifications created by the same app that created the notification in the first place, not only Tasker. IMHO it should work as documented, letting kid apps react on the removal of their own notifications. Set up an accelerometer based profile to take photos.  It works up until the phone is locked, however, locked is the state that I want the accelerometer to trigger photos.  When locked, the green dot appears in the corner to indicate that that camera is active, but no new photos are taken/stored.

It's really frustrating. I was running an app that I had already paid 4400 won ($4) to purchase and install from the Google Play Store. At some point, I kept getting pop-ups telling me to use the version I purchased from the play store, and I kept getting links to install tasker in my web browser! I couldn't use the app. No, I'm not using a cracked version, and I paid $4 to use it from the play store, so why was I getting this error? It's really frustrating. I tried reinstalling, but the app doesn't install and the "install"

Hi,

I user Tasker daily to disable internet on my phone during the night. This helps reduce battery drain and ensures no errant notifications try and bypass do not disturb.

The two actions in the task are:

Mobile Data -> Off WiFi -> Off

However recently I've started getting a persistent notification after this task activates "Trial Over. Sorry, Tasker can't be used until you purchase it from Google Play"

I'm unable to open Tasker when this occurs until I either manually re-enable internet or wait for the equivalent task to automatically enable internet the following morning.

I guess something
