Most of the time when I press a button on an AutoNotification, part of the button's action is to dismiss the notification. However there is quite a noticeable lag between pressing the button and notification removal, since the process has to go from AN, to Tasker, through a task, and back to AN. On my Samsung s5 this takes a couple of seconds, but I'm sure it would still noticeable on newer devices too.

I propose an additional boolean option for each notification button: "Dismiss notification on button press"

It would be nice to have an option in WiFi Near to check if there's a known WiFi available. With this it would be possible to do profiles like:

On event 'Display on' AND WiFi Near (known WiFi) => Turn on WiFi

I use Tasker to play a sound for incoming texts (SMS/MMS), so that I can check for various conditions (first).  For example, if I am in a meeting I don’t let it play the sound.

But, recently, there has been a change that I have been unable to resolve…

I was hoping to use taskernet to share some of my recent Tasker work but I can't because it uses a lot of AutoRemote. When I export my shares to XML and take a look at them it appears the AutoRemote Send Message steps include my unique IFTTT Webhooks identifier as well as the password I use for my messages. And as far as I can tell there's no way to use a variable for those particular data points so that info could be moved out of the action data and into variables (which aren't part of the share). Can

My device is galaxy A50 android 9.I 've created a project to answer an incoming call autimatically.the project runs successfully.after exporting the project as an app and after installing the app and enable accessiblity setting for the app and enable change system setting from setting after that the app didn't answer the call automatically although the device did that before exporting the project .I hope to fix the problem in a next update of Tasker.

.I was wondering if it is possible to add a section in profiles (application) in order to select all apps of a certain type of apps the type may be news ,tools,maps,photograghy,puzzles ,… etc.

This is useful to make profiles such as one to enable wifi if a news app is opened or to enable silent mode if a certain type of apps is opened like games.etc,. 

By now, we can't interact with scenes placed on the lockscreen, because they are in overlay mode. But other applications, like Floatify for example, are able to display informations on the lockscreen, and allow the user to interact with it without unlocking the smartphone (like answer to a sms). Why is that feature not available in Tasker if it is possible in other apps?

autonotification is able to block by title or text, but sometimes it would be useful to block by subtext (marked with red box). this way the spotify notification wouldn't pop up on all devices with the same account, but only on the one you are listening on.

When I'm creating a task and use an 'IF' or 'FOR' action I always have to immediately go back and create the 'END' action accompanying it because if I don't the rest of my task falls into the IF statement. This is really annoying and it has on several times screwed up my tasks and I don't realize it till I'm already using the task in real use cases.

Many times I have multiple If statements nested inside each other and I loose track. So it would be great to have like a checkbox option to create the 'END' action

I tried disabling "Show Notification Icon," and I've toggled the notification permission for Tasker and restarted my phone multiple times and in different orders.  The notification always returns with the icon in the status bar.  The option in the menu seems to do nothing. :(

Business Google Accounts include the use of "TeamDrives" in addition to the standard "My Drive". TeamDrives are just like"My Drive" except they are designed more for collaboration.

This is all part of Google Drive and it's API but Tasker seems to default to only access the "My Drive".... Please allow support for accessing TeamDrives

A simple request. Just as you can create a task without assigning it to a profile, please can we create a profile without being forced to assign a task to it. Yes, I know the profile won't 'do' anything as there is no task, but sometimes having it there is a handy placeholder and provides structure when developing a project.

Add a option on payed services (sms, calls, etc) to flash a notification when used and have it enabled by default (option to deselect).

This would be a safety net to avoid "rogue" tasks from racking up additional charges without the user being aware.

My particular case was having a task continue to run due to issue https://tasker.helprace.com/i498-stop-doesn-t-work-when-making-recursive-task without me being aware since there's no visual feedback outside of tasker that it was still running, all while racking up insane communication charges (in the thousands).

I just want to avoid anyone else to have to go through the same situation.

When creating a task that calls itself, pressing stop will become non functional after the first loop (pressing it will do nothing).

Going to homescreen and back to the app will allow the task to be stopped

bassicaly im trying to get tasker to detect the notification from one of my app and to perform a task to play media. 

My idea is once my door is open, my door sensor triggers and send a notification to my tablet. once tasker reads the notification about door sensor it must play a voice recorded. 

i have successfully uploaded my media play in task tab but my profile is not detecting the notification from my smart app in order to play

Currently, the AutoWear-plugin is available for Wear OS-based smartwatches. The idea is to develop a equivalent for the Samsung Tizen-based smartwatches.

I have some questions on Taskernet:

• Why is the HTML description only displayed in a box?
• Why not build it to be a place to discover new projects, where people can vote and comment?
• Why can't scenes be exported?

Take a look at the similar sharing site for Anki software. It has search function, categories, rating. If you take a look at a particular project (mine for example), you will see that it has votes, comments, description of the author (with no box), and raw data of the project.

My phone's display resolution is 1920x1080. When I use the Take Screenshot action, a .PNG file is created, and its size is 3.1MB.

I would like to suggest 2 small options for the Take Screenshot action:

The first: Resize: will have 2 possible values: 50%, or 25% so choosing "25%" for example, will make the image file's resolution 480x270, instead of the original 1920x1080. this already will decrease the file size by 75%...

The second: File Type: will have 2 possible values: .PNG, or .JPG so choosing .JPG, will further decrease the file size, and choosing .JPG is relevant

Android auto has limitations for 3rd party apps. Currently media and messaging are supported, navigation is sparse

What I would like to be able to is retrieve notifications from certain apps and make them visible in Android auto.

I can read them out loud already, but I would like to see them handled as messages.

It be would awesome if the Vars/Variables tab is accessible in the Task Edit menu (may it be through swiping from the right/left or in any available way). Not only that it would help a lot of users which are fond of using multiple variables inside a task such as myself but it can also help in saving time in creating a complex task by checking the current value of the variables in the task without exiting the menu.
