    Search throughout labels

    GianMaxTheo · 0 · Posted

After more than ten years of Tasker usage, I have had the need to search for keywords in labels and found that, strangely enough, they are not considered part of the user data.

I don't know if that would be really useful to anyone; I haven't tried to use it for ages. However, I would like to suggest this feature. Thank you.

In the application context selection screen, make the frame around selected applications higher contrast

    Adam Logan · 0 · Posted

I can't see the difference at native resolution. I have to zoom to maximum zoom to see if an app is selected, and even then, it's hard to see. Native Resolution Maximum Zoom Another idea is to dim the overall tile for unset, and have selected apps at regular brightness. It just needs to be easier to see.

using GET method on an API successful return, website backend logged as success, but return value cannot be store in the tasker variable

I've checked %http_response_length the correct response length was output as I tested on PC browser, and my Device file permission was allowed, but the variable was empty after I perform the task.

    Searching Tasker Global Variable Values

    Sharif Salah · 0 · Posted

    Hey,

I know how to use the search functionality within Tasker to search for the name of a Global Variable or array I have in mind. Supposing however, I have a value in mind and I want the search to retrieve a list of Global variables that currently match that value. I think it would be neat if that were possible.

    Many thanks

Tasker popup notification requesting missing permission: Root Access

Gicci · 1 · Last reply by João Dias

Since a few days I get popup notifications stating that a required permission is missing, listing the "Root Access" as the needed one.

Of course that's not an Android permission which can be granted, so the message is already confusing, and no action is performed when clicking the notification.

It would be good at least to display which is the action that is triggering that request, so that the user could check and modify it.

    I am using a Samsung S10 with Android 9.

    - Download / Update via PlayStore

    - Opening without Sideload Launcher

    - DPI adjustments, so the top bar with burger menu isn't cut off on some devices

    - Bonus: usability with tv remote

    - Bonus: ability to recognize / simulate tv specific keys like input or netflix
