Nested or grouped tasks

Stay with me, Joao! please... ;-)

I know, I know...

I have seen others request this, without fully or clearly explaining any type of detail or benefit.

I have made images to explain how this would benefit the usability of Tasker. As a UI designer myself, I am often annoyed by this small but easily fixable thing.

I have made examples in Photoshop to illustrate my explanation:

My home automation tab ("project") is a good section to demonstrate this with, as it consists of many many tasks. This causes me to have to scroll quite a lot. And I have many projects like this.

Step 1:

I want my light scenes to be in a group. So, I don't have to scroll too much to see the tasks below them.

(My light scenes are the tasks with the bulbs with gears on them).

Step 2:

I will select the tasks I want to have grouped, or nested. This will make an icon appear in the top bar.

Step 3:

When I click this icon, a dialog will pop up where I can give the group a name.
I will name my group: Light scenes.

Step 4:

After I have confirmed the group name. The group will be visible in the list.
An icon can appear to the left side to collapse and expand the group.
An icon on the right side could be an extra indication for this being a group.
Tasks that would normally appear offscreen are now visible, and ready to also be grouped if the user wishes.

Step 5:

Collapse and expand at will.
Enjoy uncluttered task lists.

Clutter-free...
Imagine I could group those separate device tasks... The more system like things... The pc automation tasks...  with minimal scrolling as a result!

And let's be honest. Don't we all want to utilize the maximum amount of screen real estate as possible?

I hope this request finds you with haste ;)

Hoping you are well ✌️

I was thinking something similar, but being able to group profiles within projects.

This will help keep the projects tab tidy. Maybe being able to have sub projects.

I don't think tasks really need to be grouped as they can be called by multiple profiles from any project. Either way, being able to have groups would be a great help.
