im in china, i have google play store but only works while on vpn, google is banned here. i want to try tasker for first time, there is a 7 days trial. I downloaded the apk from here but says sorry tasker cant be used until you purchase it from google play, how do i use the 7 days trial?

I tried again and same. Uninstalled, and downloaded again from here: https://tasker.joaoapps.com/download.html this time i tried with the beta one too, 6.2.22 and 6.3.2-beta, both same problem, it says trial over, vpn is on and sends me to pay. I accepted all prompts and remove battery restrictions and ending saying me i cant use it for free.
Im trying to see if i can use it for one particular function, i wouldnt mind to pay if during trial works. I want to setup the power button double click to launch an app, i read with tasker secundary i would be able to do so as long as the system let me reconfigure, it is a Xiaomi and can set up double click for several functions or leave it blank so i guess it would work but not sure.
I want to launch that app that has to click after in an area of the app to perform a task, i guess is feasiable but not sure.
Also since most of time im here without vpn on, im not sure if after paying the licence i will have problems to use it, I read some complaints from users that dont have play store installed and the paid licence becomes invalid because cant be verify it.
