Access Tasker environment functions from actions

It would be extraordinarily helpful if Tasker provided actions that let us use some or all of the same underlying Tasker management functions that the Tasker environment and Task Editor use.

Here are some examples of what I'm asking for:

An action that returns a tasks's cdate and/or edate.  It could accept the taskname as a parameter.

An action that recognized which task(s) is/are highlighted in a project's Task view would work well with the requested cdate/edate action.  (And a similar action that recognizes selected actions while I'm in the Task Editor.)

An action that works in the Task Editor that reads a task would let me make a scrollable and jump-able table of contents or list of an action's occurrences or list of all the actions that use a particular variable.

A Tasker Editor "Select" action that selects a specific action by line number(s) so that we can quickly copy/cut/move/enable/disable selected actions.

Of course, it would be handy to have copy/cut/move/enable/disable actions, too.  :)

An action that uses Tasker's search routine and can then process the results so that we could, for example, choose only the entry for the desired task OR a list of tasks that call that task, OR a list of scenes that call it, etc.

Not only would actions like these help me manage my very large tasks and huge number of projects, tasks, scenes, and variables, but primitives like these would allow your user base to extend system capabilities without taking up your time.

It drives me nuts having to look through calls to a task in a search's hit list when all I want is the task itself.  If I had an action that ran the search I could fix that myself.

I hope this was clear.  Please let me know if it isn't.

As always, thanks for everything you do.
