My application-context profiles, which used to work flawlessly for years, have been broken since the rollout of Tasker v5.8. They became unreliable. They either don't trigger at all (in one or both directions), or activate only for a brief moment (i.e. the exit task immediately follows the entry task even though the assigned app was never moved from the foreground).

A couple of days ago I returned to 5.7.2 (from 5.8.5), so they are working fine again. Can you please find out what went wrong in

There is currently a profile font size preference but the vertical size if the profile list items does not get any smaller. For example when setting profile font size to 12, the profile names become just small words within a still quite large row.

Hi, As per my understanding, Ignore APPs list is there to help us minimize resource consumption of AutoNotification, making it possible to only check notifications coming from the APP that we are building some logic and ignore the rest. That would mean that usually we would need to check all the APPS except the ones that we will be building logic for. That's a hell of a data entry (if you have 150 APPS installed like me for instance), so I believe AutoNotification would benefit from adding one check-all checkbox above the list of APPs, to automatically check all APPs

I have op6t and when i create profiles change mute vibrate sound my media comes out from upper speaker and i must reboot phone to solve

Add the ability to detect if the hotspot was toogled on or off and create profiles based on them. This will bring the possibility to enable/disable other profiles that might be turning the network off.

Would be rather meaningful improvement because I search constantly items and there's like huge clutter of disabled items (but don't want to delete as many of them are good raw material of sequences of usefulness for future use!) so hiding them from search (as default option, or to be able to choose if I want to search for disabled or enabled) and also allowing to hide disabled items from task view, so perhaps default being hidden, and button tap could bring them out, etc, or something like

Actions do not show in notifications using Android 9. Neither wehen configured in Notify nor in Tasker itself.

I've been using a Pixel 2 since they were released and I used to have a profile which would see I am near my work's wifi and then set my ringer to 0 as not to disturb coworkers. This worked perfectly and had no ill effects for a few years.

I'm not sure exactly when, probably around February/March, the Greyscale feature of Wind Down would, seemingly at random times, disable itself after it had been activated (both manually & by time of day).

I was able to narrow the behavior down to Tasker and, specifically, Notification/DnD access permissions.

Internet is raging about the incapacity of adding multiple files into tasker. Some geniuses have used tasker to create multiimport tasks with autotools (https://forum.joaoapps.com/index.php?threads/easy-tasker-import.7729/) - good meta-tasker-stuff, indeed. However, would you consider the possibility of importing many files at the same time?

Is it possible to have an option for managing the projects from the files (windows or Android files explorer) rather than from the tasker UI (by dragging and droping them in limite way)?

If you have to move many files or manage many projects, having the oportunity of handling files in a folder estructure, it would be much faster.

Please note that the sliders make small jumps when going from units to tens to hundreds, which makes modifying them by hand a bit difficult. Also, the total lenght of the slider is modified while sliding.

I have created a profile with Event Context to check the %CELLID variable is set (value is blank) and trigger a task when this variable is set.

In Tasker -> Preferences -> Monitor, I have enabled "Cell Workaround" and "Use New Cell API" options.

This profile will work and triggers the linked task without any issues when it is in Tasker, but if I export this project as an standalone app (with all required permissions) and install it, this profile will not trigger at all from the app.

I live near a time zone border, and need to keep it locked to the correct one at home, but I'd like it to be local time when I'm not.  Secure Settings allows me to enable & disable auto_time_zone, but then time_zone is wrong, and changing that setting doesn't affect the phone's time..  I need a feature that sets a specific time zone.

I have tried multiple profiles but cannot get them to run automatically

Trigger Work, Based on Location, NET & GPS , Radius 100m - Fails to run. ave swicthed off/on GPS, have increased radius , still fails

Trigger Car Mode, Based on BT Connect, Name selected from search 'VOLVO' and address from search - FAILS.  Have tried switching to BT Headphones to try and trigger, - BT off and On - still fails

Trigger Night Mode, based on Time, - FAILS.

The tasks that are called

I use the Tasker "Toggle Quick Setting" to enable / disable vibrate mode. It was working without issues on Android 9. On Android 10 it works correctly only when "Do Not Disturb" is disabled. When it is enabled I get the following behavior: with a single tap I can enable "vibrate mode" with no issues (I set the "Toggle" status to "Active"), but when I tap it again most of the time it does not work. I need to tap it several times until the task is run ("vibrate mode" is disabled, and the "Toggle" status set to "Inactive"). Every
