I can't record calls (incoming and outgoing). Let me explain.

For that I use a task with the action "Record sound", found in the tab "media". I have specified the destination path (correct path), and the name of the file that will be created. I put a maximum size of 300. Format: AMR Narrowband and the same for the codec.

When I receive a call and answer (task triggering), an error message appears: "Failure to initialize the recorder")...

However, the action works if I change the source and put "Microphone".

How can i solve this problem ?

Requesting a timer event and state, gonna explain how it works below;

Time event;

For example we can create a profile consists of a timer event and a proximity sensor state, so if proximity is true for less than 3 sec perform A and if it's more than 5 secs perform action B.

Timer state;

Add a timer state and add it up with a display off state and a turn on event so if the screen was off between 30 to 60 seconds and turned on in this period it will trigger a specific action...

I have created a widget on the home screen. Depending on the profile, I change the widget icon and text (and some other things) via tasks (Set Widget Icon). For the widget icon, I use an application icon since it launches the application when clicked.

There are two problems with the widget's icon:

When setting the icon to the application icon for Google Maps, it doesn't show the usual map icon but a red location marker instead. There seems to be a problem with how the application icon is selected. In the task definition in Tasker, the correct icon

Similar to the say action where you can pass the voice as parameter all date related actions including Variable Convert should support a locale parameter. The locale should be either system default when omitted or en, fra, pt, de, etc. For variables like %DATE I suggest to offer  virtual array with the locale as the index, e.g. %DATE(en)

Currently in action Notify Cancel has tio be used ony exact title of notification.

It would be great to add Regex support, to cancel all notifications which titles match to the specified regex.

It would also be great to increase the size for the "runlog" (which is about 250kB right now) which also just last about 3h in my case. (My tasker backup.xml has about 10500 lines of code ... so I asume me beeing a heavy user ;-). In my opinion it should be around 1MB.

The "location without tears" informs the user that low power conditions must be met before high power conditions are tested.

It would be great if the low power and high power conditions in the same context could be net based and gps based *location* conditions.

For example, two location geofences around the same center, a larger radius with net only, and a smaller radius with gps. The smaller gps radius would only be checked if the larger net only radius was already matching.

Today I runned a shell script about "Getevent" -same as above discussions- with 5 sec of timeout. But it doesn't timeout.

And it worked on my device earlier, but after several updates, some months, today, it doesn't.

A shell script action with root permission can't be controlled by tasker, th owner app.

Would be rather meaningful improvement because I search constantly items and there's like huge clutter of disabled items (but don't want to delete as many of them are good raw material of sequences of usefulness for future use!) so hiding them from search (as default option, or to be able to choose if I want to search for disabled or enabled) and also allowing to hide disabled items from task view, so perhaps default being hidden, and button tap could bring them out, etc, or something like

Route a HTTP Request through a proxy like it can do with a CURL. For example this is necessary to send requests to blocked servers. In Russia is a blocked api.telegram.org. If I need to send a message from my bot, I must be use a VPN or i need do http reruest with a curl through a proxy. I think there are a lot more uses for that.

I work a lot with Context "Cell Near" e.g. to detect work places,...

To set the cells for my wifes place I look at the context in the evening when she comes home.

Sadly the history (in the cell near context magnifying glass) is to short and so does not show the cells from in the morning. Could you please at least double, better tripple the history or make it a preference.

"MP3 Tag" function like "App Info" or "Test Media" Function with more tags. Since, mt_year and mt_genre aren't working.

I prefer using tasker in English, but changing the language also changes time format to 12 hour. I am not used to it, my country uses 24 hour format and that is what I am used to. So you can imagine how much of a pain it is to set events based on a time. Could you please add the option to choose time format in future releases?

I'd like a "chop" gesture, like the double-chop gesture Motorola uses for toggling the torch.  Similar to the action you would use with a small hatchet, or bouncing a hammer off the head of a nail.  Each "chop" is a short, abrupt, single shake down and back up.

The gesture should have settings for:

1. Sensitivity (how aggressive and/or fast the chop must be) 

2. Number of "chops".

The current "shake left to right" gesture doesn't work as a good replacement.

I use the KISS launcher which is a minimalistic take on launchers. No icons on the page except a bottom row of "favourites", and a search bar that searches installed apps, contacts, settings, etc. When using browser apps I can select "Add to Home screen" and that website is added as a "Desktop shortcut" which makes it available in the launcher search results. It would be great to have Tasker add tasks to the Home screen in this fashion! Widgets, btw, are not a good fit as the widget support is minimal (can add only one at a time, it takes up
