My profiles stopped working; no idea when.  Thoughts?

Actions that do not have a permission should request it before executing or at least have the option to enable or disable the request and not just show an error in notifications.

Each element of a scene can be configured independent tasks according to the user's interaction with that element but that cannot be executed outside of that interface, exporting the scene I find that each action of those elements has a unique id (task####), so I wondered if this would be possible to add in some update, it is practical and necessary.

Environment:  Android 14

Problem:  Not directly an issue with Tasker.  If Microsoft Defender (the "MSDefender" app in the app drawer) has Privacy Protection enabled, this will cause failures of any REST Request calls with an Error 1 Wait failure.  It may appear that something is wrong with your statement, but the request is being blocked externally from Tasker.  A little obscure but readily addressed.

Workaround:   Either disable Privacy Protection or follow these steps to exclude Tasker from being blocked:

1. Open the MSDefender app
2. In the Privacy Protection tile, select the arrow ">" in the lower right corner
3. Towards the bottom

V otevřené aplikaci Tasker nelze v menu otevřít pomoc: gesta a ani uživatelská příručka. Oba dva výše zmíněné odkazy doprovází stejné chybové hlášení. Taktéž nelze otevřít v menu UI stáhnout jazyk češtinu a následně ho i použít . Jazyk se sice stáhne ale následně to hlásí chybové hlášení, soubor je poškozen. Zkoušel jsem stažený soubor jsem rozbalit jak v programu WinRAR tak v programu ZArchiv. Bohužel bezúspěšně v obou případech hlásí poškozený soubor z toho důvodu nelze rozbalit . V příloze zasílám screenshoty všech výše zmíněných problémů . Ještě dodám, ale tím si nejsem úplně jist, mám zaplacenou za verzi,

Tasker on rooted Redmagic 9 Pro.

new Profile - Time from now plus 1 minutes -

Task - Flash -Text - "Time now."         - and having Beep 

screen is on but time is reached. but nothing happening.

run log does not show error, and it is shows empty list - the profile not started at the time.

i had lots of profiles from my previous mobile phone, but nothing works in Tasker on this Redmagic 9 Pro

Set up an accelerometer based profile to take photos.  It works up until the phone is locked, however, locked is the state that I want the accelerometer to trigger photos.  When locked, the green dot appears in the corner to indicate that that camera is active, but no new photos are taken/stored.

Using Pixel 8 Pro / Android 14.

Can be added a feature that make possible to taskernet published projects to be able to auto update themself?

I work with several Tasker projects in different stages and across several devices, certainly each device operates within its own environment: development, beta, and production. Additionally, I commit changes to Bitbucket.

My question is: Is there any integrated way to handle these deployments? Currently, the import process is time-consuming for me.

The good voice functionality does not work anymore. Auto tools version 2.3.9

With my Samsung S24 Ultra, the Power Any state doesn't work, except if Super Fast Charging is happening. Normal charging doesn't appear to trigger it.

An option under Task properties to enable a timeout after x time so that tasks that get stuck due to actions without timeouts or whatever the reason. This will essentially end the task regardless of its status so other tasks that are Q'd up can proceed without incident. 

When third party plugins are involved, and even some native Tasker actions, often times errors will result in tasks never completing and end up stuck in an indefinite run state even when "Continue Task After Error" is selected. If the action doesn't throw an error, then it'll just keep trying to execute

Hey there! It’d be awesome to have an ‘undo’ button for changes. Sometimes you make moves in task steps that you need to undo, but only for a specific action—kind of like a Ctrl+Z. Because let’s face it, just quitting the task or hitting cancel doesn’t always cut it for what you need 🤓👍

When creating a location profile, it would be nice if we could manually edit the GPS radius. 20km is too small and 50km too wide for what I need it for.

I have a task that I only want to run once after setting a time of day. In other words, when (manually) triggered, it would prompt the user for a time of day then run the task once. I see no way of doing this presently and editing a task every time is highly cumbersome given I'd have to do that every time.

I noticed "monitoring > running profiles". That's such a good idea, but it would be better if you could go directly from there to edit which ever profile you tap!
