I think placing the Copy & Paste options under the Conditions section would be better, than having to open the top menu.

I mean, instead of placing the correspondign options in the top menu, allow Tasker to show/hide the Copy/Paste buttons in the Conditions section if the user copies (and wanted to paste) conditions from an action. So, by default if no conditions are copied from any task, the buttons (copy) could remain hidden, and only appear (paste) when Tasker detects that some conditions have been copied.

• Copy button: always visible.
• Paste button: only appears when the user

Make "Go to task" context menu option when highlighting a "Perform Task" action. Like "Convert to if block" in actions with conditional statements.

Action to rearrange/move other actions inside a task by number or label.

Example: Move Action #5 to last place, first place or to number 10...

There is no option to choose default app for OPEN FILE action.

There should be option like BROWSE URL action have.

Currently when a notification is created there is no default on tap functionality.

We have to create another profile as NOTIFICATION CLICKED event and configure.

We should be directly able to configure on NOTIFICATION CLICK functionality in the NOTIFY action itself.

It will be great addition to tasker imo.

Currently, the Progress Dialog action, when configured to show an animation, it applies a tint to the configured picture, as shown below:

I would like to be able to choose not to tint the picture(s), and instead show them with their original color scheme, as shown below:

By this way, we can use our own set of icons to create a much more customized animation for the loader image.

Preferably the first paragraph of the comment section (rather than limited characters), displayed under their name and this option should be accessible a toggle.

This way, user could leave a brief description of their tasks and profiles and read them right away.

Hello, I am trying to make Tasker do, what i believe, is a fairly simple task.

I am using Tasker in my car. I have an aftermarket headunit that is running Android on it.

What I would like is, when the headunit turns on, I would like Tasker to wait 2 minutes, then open an app. "Waze" app to be exact. Thats it.

I was able to make this happen by simply creating a task with the following:

1. Wait -> 2 minutes

2. Launch App -> Waze

However, this proved to be unreliable because the aftermarket headunit does not

When writing code for a task, it would be useful to be able to implement something like a try-catch block, similar to this ... try   action-1   action-2   action-3   ... more actions and logic ... catch    action-a    action-b    action-c    ... perform these actions and logic if    any of the actions in the "try" block fail;    otherwise, skip this "catch" block if all    of the "try" actions succeed ... end-try-catch

It doesn't necessarily have to be this exact try/catch syntax, but whatever the exact syntax, similar functionality would be useful and

Infuriatingly, Google restricted its own Google Assistant's functionality from lockscreens, with the assistant now frequently replying "You'll need to unlock your phone for that" ...even for things as simple as asking Google for directions/navigation!

If someone had the smarts to figure out a way to utilize Tasker (with ADB) to bypass these limitations, that would be PHENOMENAL.

Perhaps Tasker/ADB could trick the assistant to thinking the screen is still unlocked?

I would like to report a possible bug related, to the following actions, when used in the same task (or different), but when one of them is executed just after the other without any delay in between:

• Progress Dialog (1st)
• Pick Input Dialog (2nd)

It sometimes happens, and in other situations doesn't.

I'm using a Light Phone II, which is an feature phone running Android 8.1.0. I have the Direct Purchase version of Tasker activated on it and running fine, but I can't get AutoInput, or any other AutoApps for that matter, to activate so I can use them.

I created a location profile that runs when I back to home. It starts always correctly. The linked Action for this profile is an Http Request (GET) to a specific address. If I run manually the Action in tasker It works fine, but it doesn't work automatically when profile starts.

I propose extending Tasker's "Intent" feature to not only react to URL schemes but also to allow users to edit the "android:path" component of the URL. Specifically, I would like to have the ability to trigger Tasker tasks when clicking on a link that leads to a URL like "https://www.mywebsite.com/customcommand," where the "android:path" component would be "www.mywebsite.com/customcommand."

Hi, I have a Direct-Purchase licence registered on an Android device dedicated to old games and in this device the tasks do not work without an internet connection. I know that the Google Play version has this limitation but does Direct-Purchase also have this limitation ?

If I export the task to APK can it work without internet connection?

Please make text a different color (maybe yellow?) for actions that are depreciated, similar to how you have some in red if unavailable on that phone. 

that will make it easier to select their replacement the first time without looking for it.

I'm new to tasker and I created 2 tasks, CrossFit and test.

If I delete one of the tasks and I ask Google assistant to run the only task that's left, it does it with no issues, but if I have 2 or more tasks and ask Google assistant to run one of them, a pop up appear asking for confirmation of which task to run and an arrow pointing to the one I asked in the first place (see screenshot below)

The "Required Permissions" list presented by the App Factory while creating a kid app is preventing the devs from removing "required" permissions. This means that some permissions that by Google are classified as "sensitive" will be present in the APK even if not actually needed by the app, requiring full verification by Google, which may take long time for no reason. During the app testing stage it should be up to the dev to determine which permissions ACTUALLY are required for the app to function properly, not (what sometimes seems to be the case) by generalized "guesses" by the app
