It nice to tasker can export to apk, but when you open apk as zip, it will show data xml is not encrypted, so someone can steal your hard work.

So could be nice to added Encryption at xml task on tasker kid, so someone will not kang it or modify it and then replace your name to their name.

Idea for a Tasker action: sync system account(s), either

• all accounts or
• all accounts of a specific account type or
• a specific account (by name and type).

Use cases (examples):

• sync emails on certain occasions,
• sync DAVx⁵ accounts on certain occasions.

The action would have to

1. enumerate affected accounts and then
2. call ContentResolver.requestSync for each account.

I made a divert call profile, that did not work as expected (I set the pattern to **1 and redirect to my Mom's number, without knowing about the significance of * char). Basically, any call to a number ending in 1 was diverted to Mom.

I deleted the profile but the diverted action was still active. I restarted the phone - same.

I disabled Tasker -  the diversion was off. Enabling Tasker reactivated the diversion.

Phone: Xiaomi Mi A1 - Android Pie.

I'll have to stop using Tasker untill the problem is solved.

Update: I deleted all profiles and restarted

While profiles, tasks and projects can be exported by url, it can't be done with scenes. Adding this functionality will be helpful.

Currently, the "Received Text" event only allows you to filter by sender and content. It would be great if I could choose a SIM filter there as well which will allow me to forward all SMS' from SIM 2 only or it can be paired with the other two filters for even finer control.

The use cases that it can solve is:

1. Forward notification to media players like Kodi, Plex, LG WebOS TV 

2. Forward notification to smart displays

3. Record/Save notifications in a database for future references,

Here are the relevant profiles:

The first profile detects via WIFI near if you are at a hotel and if so sets the variable Ort to 'Hotel'.

The second profile should trigger only when the variable Ort is set to 'Hotel'. However it seems to trigger without a reason (Hotel WiFi is not close because being at home or at work). This happens only a few times a day. I've attaced a filtered run log and the relevant part of the run log unfiltered as well.

Just like the Island app by Oasis Feng, Tasker should also have the same feature that can handle both (Mainland and Island) personal and work profile and to be able to have an app state for work apps and to be able to freeze app in both profiles.

And to also add some features that is only accessible with the administrator user.

• Currently "perform task" from JavaScript is asynchronous only and task results are unavailable. It would be good to the option of having a synchronous version which returns results as an additional option. Sure, it's not included now for a reason. But it would be good to have the option even if it would just fail when you e.g. run a task with another JavaScript action in it.
• Currently plugins are not usable. I can see this being basically impossible to address from within JS directly, so perhaps the first point is the best solution here.

Currently, the number of conditions is limited to for. Four. I would like to be able to specify more conditions.

(I know there's a workaround by convincin several conditions into one but sometimes there's just no good name that can be used for the wrapping condition and it just pollutes the namespace).

The "Cell Near" feature in Profiles does not work in Android 9, neither with the original mode nor with the "new API" that is suggested in the app. specific conclusions at this time:  - No cell information is returned if I scan for the current location  - No current cell information is recognised, and therefore profiles with "Cell Near" as entry condition currently do not work

Please allow 4, 5, or unlimited contexts in a profile to avoid the need for hacky workarounds.

When trying to import a project that has root actions integrated (via TaskerNET link), the import fails on non-rooted devices.

I get the following message during the import dialog:

Missing Permissions

Tasker needs the following permission(s) for the functionality you have configured:

Root Access

If i then click "ok" nothing happens and the import aborts without message

I don't see a reason why the import should not work in this case.

It would be great if the following information could be available in a Task (via variable or "Test Battery" aktion):

-Battery temperature -Current charge/discharge current in mA -currently used charging method ( quick charge / slow charge ) -estimated time until the charging process is completed

I am a long time user but I had to reset my phone and cannot figure out how to reanble the full set of features in the purchased version.  

Can someone assist me?

I use Tasker to disable Wi-fi and Bluetooth in certain areas, but as of now I have to have it notify me when I am entering these areas to turn off the Bluetooth S-Pen setting on my Note 9 manually. It would be much more convenient to be able to have it access this setting directly.

Some people (including myself) would probably prefer creating a separate Taskernet account instead of tying it to their Google account (or any other service, for that matter). It would be great to see such option in the future.
