Please allow to set a variable to an empty string, even with a warning if required.

There are several cases when this is useful, for example when combining multiple variables when you want one of them to concat without any value. Or when formatting with JSON a string like:

and you want the var to be a string which could be empty. Yes, you can apply the quotes inside the var, but it is not as intuitive; or you can use Variable Convert with a null URL code, but this requires 2 actions.

Hello. I have a common task for several projects. When exporting a project, the common task is exported correctly. But when importing a project, the task is quietly overwritten. Can the tasker show a warning or error that a task with same name already exists and interrupt the import? I have to first delete an existing task, export or rename it and then import project.

 After upgrading to pixel 7pro, this profile doesn't work. It is a simple task call when Bluetooth is connected to my car. Runs just fine when device connects, but doesn't recognize when Bluetooth disconnects. Will stay that way for hours despite being nowhere near my car.

I created separate task for enabling and disabling app. After running diabling app task app are disabled but both enable and disable task disappeared from taker. How do enable those disabled app?

When I add event in my system calendar via "Calendar Insert" action, there is no option to turn on reminder for this event. My event is put into calendar, but for the calendar to remind me of it, I have to go to the calendar and turn on reminder manually, adjusting when the reminder should trigger. I want to turn it on and adjust in the tasker action.

The kid app stay running and monitoring in the background even if a disable and stop action is performed by the app.

is there a way to delf terminate the kid apps?

Please add an option to hide empty lines in the Run Log screen when searching/filtering. It's very cumbersome to have to scroll through potentially hundreds of empty lines to find the one you're looking for.

Hello Taskers! I would like to suggest a feature I use a lot: A new action to close one or all apps open, removing from the recents menu. I use a very cool custom ROM (Havoc) in which if I swipe up an app from the recents menu, it closes just that particular app. If I swipe down, it closes all open apps, cleaning the recents menu completely. I really hope more people can support my suggestion, so that we can probably see it implemented. Thanks in advance! RegiOween

Hello Taskers! Profile Event AutoInput UI Update is not detecting the text within the standard popup messages of Tasker when they SHOW on the screen, but just after they CLOSE (by timeout or manual tap), which is useless, because that way I can't query or interact with the popup. I did a test with MacroDroid and it's working flawlessly to detect and tap the Tasker popup, but Tasker in terms of programming power is so much superior, that it's completely out of discussion. In the "help" text for the display Turn Off action, we have the following text:   "On some devices it takes about 3 seconds for it to really turn off, on others it might take around 10 seconds. Either way, a fully black screen will be shown while the screen doesn't really turn off."   Could we have a new option for the Turn Off action which would allow the display to fade out without it being covered by the black screen? The ability to grab audio focus to intercept media button events is very good but while tasker has audio focus auto tools or autonotification can't set the avrcp text (like a custom track name etc.) .So, please add the ability to set avrcp text from tasker itself , that would be very very useful , and I'll be very grateful .

"Enforce Task Order" should apply not only to same-profile tasks, but also to "different-profile" tasks.

Or alternatively there should be a variant of Enforce Task Order for different-profile tasks. The execution order should be FIFO (First In, First Out) through and through ; Or even better, choosable, e.g. there's also LIFO, LILO, etc. .
