Currently, Tasker can only extract data from a CSV structure if a comma is used as a separator. But many CSV files use different separators due to the fact that the data itself can contain commas. So it would be nice to be able to choose a custom separator, as is already possible in most array-related actions.

It would be very useful to have a "Split Array" action in addition to the existing "Join Arrays" action. This would greatly simplify the handling of arrays with multiple data fields, For example, if the user needs to sort by a field or remove duplicates.

Add an Option to get the Time from a User-Definable NTP Server.  Could be a nice Feature for automating work of Server Admins. (small buissness) Example: 1. get time from Web-NTP like time.google.com,  store in Variable

2. get time from Local Servers,  store in Variable

3. calculate difference of Variables

4. if difference is to high, resync/restart local server i could use such feature since this is a very repetetive part of my work and id love to do it automated with my phone. Found no other way to do that

Add Notification Click event inside Notify action. Sometimes a single profile is enough but due to lack of Notification Click event inside Notify action we need to create another profile with Notification Click event.

I was wondering if we could edit the task name from within the task, by tapping on the up horizontal bar where it says "Task Edit" and <task name>? That way you wouldn't have to long tap to edit, and you could also do it from the Profile tabs, don't need to go to the Tasks tab.

Could you please add a round corner in Scene image element?(set corner radius for image,Not backgound color rounded corner)

Rounded corners are a more popular design. It is more friendly than rectangular rectangles. You can use it to show all UI with images: imagine that round corner App Icon,dialog with background images,user-defined button..

As what title says, SQL Query gets a syntax error on using DROP COLUMN or DROP SQL Query: cursor exception: near "DROP" syntax error. Tested queries: ALTER TABLE "my_table" DROP COLUMN "my_column" ALTER TABLE my_table DROP COLUMN my_column ALTER TABLE "my_table" ALTER COLUMN "my_column" DROP ALTER TABLE my_table DROP my_column

As what the title says, Variable Clear (without Clear all variables checked) also clears the values of Project Variables, even though Immutable is checked which is annoying because you can't use the feature with Variable Clear. 

What I've tested:

- Variable Clear, Project Variable with Immutable checked.

- Variable Clear, Project Variable without Immutable checked (This is the worst because it also clears the assigned value unlike the checked immutable that value it's not cleared on the Project Variables but cleared on the Task with Variable Clear.

-use variable %ids from the project variable that is set "1"

Hi there, I stumbled uppon this error and dont know how to fix it.

I am just trying to change my UI language from german to english, but as soon as I try that I get a error "Missing permission" to manage external storage. But in the App permissions I can not find any way to allow the storage management.

I am running Tasker 6.2.1-beta on a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 with One UI 5.1

I am running latest Android beta and Tasker 6.2.1 beta. When I restart the phone for some seemingly random amount of time the AutoVoice Noise action works fine but then it will run with no errors and nothing out of place in the log but the Noise Recognition Service will not start. If I go into AutoVoice and toggle the Noise Recognition Service to on it will start listening for noise but does not even temporarily fix this issue and I must keep toggling this in AutoVoice until restart. 

Request to have also a "double tap" option (in addition to tap, long press, and stroke) in scene elements to trigger different tasks.

While choosing several actions within a task, I'd love to see the ability to invert the selection so all other actions are now chosen. It can be very useful when you wish to temporarily shut off all other actions and rerun only a few, or for moving many actions to another task but not all.

Is it possible that Tasker will present a list of profiles and tasks sorted by their energy consumption in the past 24H or 7 days? In addition, is it possible to add an action that will present the energy consumption at the end of a task?

It would be extraordinarily helpful if Tasker provided actions that let us use some or all of the same underlying Tasker management functions that the Tasker environment and Task Editor use.

Here are some examples of what I'm asking for:

An action that returns a tasks's cdate and/or edate.  It could accept the taskname as a parameter.

An action that recognized which task(s) is/are highlighted in a project's Task view would work well with the requested cdate/edate action.  (And a similar action that recognizes selected actions while I'm in the Task Editor.)

An action that works in the Task Editor

It would be really helpful if we could search by task name when adding a task to a profile. My list of tasks is really long and scrolling takes a long time.

Currently in scene menus (those are the lists), every item in the list reuses the same image. The only way to give each item a unique thumbnail image is if it's manually input. For variable input, it's impossible.

 

This variable would enable variable-populated menus to have unique images for each item.  For example, if your list contains a list of image files within a folder, you'd be able to display a thumbnail of each image in its entry in the list.  And if you were displaying a list of songs, you could show a thumbnail for each song.

 

If your task has a name. It will only display it on one single line. Even though it's the only task triggered by the profile. 

This request is to add a functionality that checks if it is the only task being triggered, and allows the Task Name to display properly. 

Ideally it would allow the task name to have as much space to display as the triggers have.

I'd like to have the option to just have the image fit to the screen. Right now the only options are to crop the image and scale which doesn't function the way I'd like.

The fade-in animation on custom toasts is a real dealbreaker for me at the moment in terms of actually being able to use them. I really wish that new toasts would display instantly rather than fading in slowly over the top of the previous one. This is especially jarring and obvious when displaying different text or background colours in quick succession.

If we could remove the fade-in completely and furthermore make sure only one toast is shown at any one time (either implicitly when creating a new custom toast, or via a separate 'cancel existing custom toasts' action),
