Greetings, can Tasker detect when switched tablet charging power cord to my Tab A8 turns off with ignition and turn off Tablet?

I want to have Galaxy Tab A8 turn off when I am on a trip and turn off the car instead of letting it go to sleep. Thank you.

Hi! If your tablet is rooted you can use the Reboot action to do it.

If not, you could try using AutoInput to click the Shutdown button for you.
