I would like to know if it would be possible to add a new feature to Tasker about project organization. The issue is about the organization of the projects. Well, Tasker currently allows to have individual projects, which can contain profiles, tasks and scenes. But there is no way to organize projects in "mega-projects", to put it in some way. That is, as a project of several projects. Thank you very much ;)

The torch toggle in Tasker is ok, but not very bright. To get full brightness you need to use a plugin such as Task Light (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devuni.flashlight.tasklight)

Atm tasker saves up to two log files of ~2mb before overwriting them. This means depending on how much you're doing with tasker, they might not reach far back. In my case there's only 2h worth of data (extensive looping) and this makes debugging quite a challenge. 

I'd like if we could increase the log size if necessary. 

Would it be possible to have more date options to be used in Contexts?

For example every 4th Friday in a month, or the first or last Sunday each month?

Currently Tasker does not have basic TCP actions, for Connecting, Sending, Receiving, and Disconnecting.

The closest thing it has, are the HTTP GET and POST (and HEAD..) actions, which might be problematic for sending files, since I don't know If I can use them to send a 15MB file for example, in one HTTP GET/POST..

Can Tasker be added with these 4 basic actions for TCP?

TCP_Connect(HostnameOrIP,Port) TCP_Disconnect()

TCP_Send(Data) TCP_Receive()

Please allow the battery level state from/to values to be set from variables. I would have expected this would be possible in advanced mode for all states, but there are exceptions.

My use case is that if I want different battery levels based on things like current user, location, or time (weekend/weekday/holiday), then I can just update some global variable instead of creating a separate profile for each variation.

It'd be great to have an application profile that you could modify in scene or/and variable also. This way you could do for example a game/childrens/visitor etc. profiles and you could edit apps selected as a trigger.

I was doing a blocker app for my kids phone so that it would block the screen every time he would start certain apps in his phone. I was doing it with Tasker App factory but couldnt do it because there is no way to select the apps which trigger the tasks. Same goes on many apps made with app factory that require

i want to know if you are able to add some ir remote plugin. right now the only app supported by tasker is anymote (it doesnt work unfortunately)

i have huawei honor with smart remote by default, there is also Mi remote from xiaomi and both work perfectly but tasker doesnt reconize it as plugin

so kindly if you can develop any plugin espcially for mi remote, or any 3rd party you agree to work with....it will be nice to control many device without using any more device like rm 3 etc....

Usually the first response From João to a request for help is "Tasker Version ?"  especially when dealing with betas. It would be very useful to have a menu option like Menu -> Info > copy tasker info.

This would set the clipboard to all data João would feel necessary to properly assess help requests. Such as Tasker version, app factory version, android version, device, rooted, ect..

Currently Tasker's Search feature doesn't let you specify whether to constrain the search to just Tasks, or just Profiles, or Scenes, etc.

The current drop-down menu only lets you specify "Contains", "Matches", or "Regex" and the toggles at the bottom are "USER DATA", "FEATURES". etc.

So I guess adding another separate dropdown menu for "All", "Tasks", "Profiles", "Scenes" would work. Or - add them as Toggles so that combinations could be selected.

Please add the ability to change the text color of the Number Picker scene element.

Is it possible to have a way to see on Tasker which tasks are associated to at least one condition and those who are "orphan"? Thank could help alot when some cleaning is needed :)

The Notification Clicked Event only needs Accessibility Service Permission if you want to read notifications put up by other apps. In Kid App development this event is often used to read notification clicks on notifications the Kid App put up itself. If you add this event to your app, tasker adds the accessibility service permission to the manifest and there is nothing you can do about it atm. 

Unless you fancy fighting with Google and receive the threat of a permanent ban, you can't use accessibility service permission in apps you want to upload to the store.

I know this was disabled because of some issues back in the day. Would be great, if this could be given another shot. I think app creation needs some love. There are some issues that keep tasker from being great for creating apps that have been overlooked for far too long in my opinion.

Creating profiles that basicly do the same thing can take up alot of space. So I would like a way to put a OR in the context. Such as wifi connected OR  Bluetooth connected do this or that.

Or maybe even something in the task such as a if statement have a OR statement. I know there kind of is but would like to have that option alone in Tasker.
