we fill in Time Event from a Szene for Custom Profiles for Start and End of Actions.

Now it would not be bad, if we can fill the Every Time Context also from a variable, the repetition rhythm fix of hour or also as variable.

I have a task that looks for a certain word in an SMS message and plays a media sound file. Could not seem to get it to consistently work. I have a Samsung S10+ and phone just got upgraded to Android Q

I try to set up Event -> Notification under Second Space (MUI11, Android 10).

The task works well after I save it but in a couple of minutes it stops working and Tasker asks me to set the Notification Access again that I already set. It says: Error still missing permission Notification Access. On the same phone but under First Space is everything ok.

I tried to reboot the phone. It helps for a while but then it happens again.

Does anyone know a solution?

I would like to trigger some tasks using Face ID if possible.

It may be a wonderful idea to manage smart home applications according to the faces of the people living home. For example, it says their names after checking their face IDs. Or it waits to say the personal notes from another user until it sees the target person 's face.

Hi, I've been trying to see if this is possible but just can't see it. Say I wanted to get information from App Info and use the %app_icon() in a custom navbar, currently I can only choose Task icons from icons in a list.

If I wanted this to be dynamic and based on say, the last app I used, it would help to allow that to be a variable.

When creating new profile, there is no option to get location via that "Get Location V2", only with near cell or gps. Please add it.

Autolocation related: autolocation activity triggered and the specific task is performed but it continuely keep performaing the task e.g. i set state autolocation activity driving, then perform task to open google map. but performs well but keep performing it again and again.

The Page Load event of the webview element allow us to get the url. would be possible get the html content in a variable? This option can allow users to get html content after ajax loading in some pages.

A created scene won't appear when the conditions are met. The other tasks in the sequence play just fine, and when I play the sequence manually it appears. I've already tried incompatibility management, all the "how to show" options, and waiting a time before showing it, with no results. I'm using MIUI 11 with no root permissions.

Also, the scene stays greenlighted as if it was running

Basically either the ability to put %BATT variable in Profile > State > Variables > Variable Value (not allowed at the moment) or to set the battery ranges by variable in Profile > State > Power > Battery Level.

Tasker has actions for pressing physical buttons and for Long-pressing the Power button , and apparently (but not on my phone with Tasker 5.7.2)) double-tapping the power button and long-pressing the volume control buttons.  What about extra-long pressing the Power button?  On my phone (Droid Turbo 2, Android 7.0), tapping the power button blackens the screen/locks the phone, long-pressing the power button brings up the Power Off screen with only one option, and if you press the power button even longer, the Power Off screen disappears and the phone reboots.  Can this be done without rooting the phone?

Tasker seems to be having some trouble accessing some of calendars on my Google account (but not all of them).

As demonstrated in the attached screencast, the same event, moved from one calendar to a new one I created to test the issue, is either seen or not by the calendar state condition in tasker.

At first I believed it to be caused by the accent in the calendar name ("CongésVieux" in the screencast), but the new calendar created for the test also include the same accent ("Congés").

The problem also appears with events in the Google local holidays calendar

After the update for my Samsung Galaxy S10 to Android 10. The wifi connected variable does not trigger my action eventhough my phone is clearly connected to the specific wifi SSID I've set. Before the update, everthing was working flawlessly.

It would be nice to be able to export the description to storage.

I think it's happen to all of us : we are trying to make a new task and someone call us on phone, or we receive important message => after, bad habits maybe, we close all the programs running in background...and we close tasker and we lost all our work !! :'(

The feature to auto save the task without clicking on the check mark on the top right side will be great

I offer full integration of the OpenStreetMap API in Tasker, since the capabilities of Google Maps are limited. I propose to extract all possible information from the API into variables, such as street names, house numbers, POI names, etc. What do you think of this?

when I try to sign-in / authorize to GoogleDrive I only get a spinner on a white window and then nothing happens. I am on 5.9 now but I am quite sure the problem has been persistent for quite some time and several updates. As a result backup to GD never worked for me. Does anybody have a clue how I could solve this?

I get the following error message: Unknown Google Error
